<<Lewis was 71 years old when he was last seen at Warm Springs Tribal Credit Enterprise in Warm Springs, Oregon on March 16th, 2022. He has never been seen again. His white 2005 Toyota Celica hatchback was later found locked and abandoned in the snow near the intersection of P500 and P200 near the base of Mount Jefferson on the Warm Springs Reservation. Lewis' hat, groceries, and dog food he bought that day were all still inside. Scent tracking dogs followed Lewis' trail to rim rock area.
It is unusual for Lewis to remain out of contact with family for this long. He is well-known and well-liked in the community and an employee of Warm Springs Forest Products Mill. While Lewis was known to occasionally hike the Warm Springs Reservation, he typically did not go out after dark nor alone. Lewis remains missing.
