I just tried and got a message that the server is down. Could it be because it's the weekend? Yes, I noted that the next case management hearing is 7/13.

I too this morning got the same message.... hopefully, it's just for the weekend!

My bet is that the court does its updates and backups on the weekends. This is something I have noticed over the past 20 years. Try again on Monday morning :)

This is such great news of the arrest @LinasK! May justice be speedy. Your cousin had a wonderful smile and from your photo avatar looked like a really nice guy.

This is new- substituting attorney. I wonder if Lovrien's request was granted then? I'll have to see if Mark's dad knows.

It does look like he has changed lawyers -

At the top of court site:

Active Attorneys
Lead Attorney
CALHOUN, JOE

Court Appointed

then on:

05/05/2020 Order - Appointing Counsel

Judicial Officer
Baggio, Amy M.

Comment
Attorney: D Smith

and changed on:

06/05/2020 Order - Substituting Attorney

Judicial Officer
Ramras, Christopher

Comment
ATTORNEY: CALHOUN

Well bleep! Unless Calhoun was on at the beginning as a 2nd attorney, this will definitely cause a delay because he'll have to get up to speed on the case.

Let's hope he took lesson on Evelyn Wood's speed reading! :D

edited to add - for the "younger" folks here:

yes, I'm old.... o_O ;)

Hey guys, trying to keep the thread active here while we wait: Only a slight update- just checked the portal for the Oregon Judicial system and it looks like the case management set for next Monday has been pushed back a week to 7/20 @1:30pm. Hopefully we will get some info...

Thanks for the update!

Let's hope this case doesn't take two years to get to trial like some others that I've seen on crime shows... I want some answers- how did he know/meet Mark, what was his motive? And most importantly, where is Mark's body???

I’m glad things are progressing. So encouraging after all these years to have all of this happening.

And yet, frustratingly slow. He's already managed to replace one attorney. I'm impatient waiting for things to happen. The backyard search may be totally unrelated to Mark.

Hey @LinasK - was wondering if you know Lovrien's birth date? I have 1967 as the year, but nothing else. TIA!

I hope things mover fairly quickly in getting justice for Mark and family

It's crossed out on the Judicial Search record, so no, but his middle name is Charles. Got that much. Christopher Charles Lovrien, or Christopher C Lovrien.

Good thing I just checked: The Case Management hearing got pushed off again to 8:30a.m. on Friday July 24th. Wonder why he keeps getting granted delays?

Still scheduled for Friday morning as of this point. I'm hoping that the protests downtown and Federal response doesn't have an effect on delaying this hearing...
