Blumenauer wants militia to pay for Malheur occupation http://wp.me/p4yR81-17io

Good. I hope this happens.

Wouldn't it be against their principles to stick the people with the bill for their armed camping trip?

Hate to interupt the flow of the indictments, but save this for a rainy day. JJ MacNab gave a link to this 2014 article, in which she is quoted, earlier today. Its as if a good portion of the country has lost their marbles. And, its been happening for a very long time.

snip from long article

“What all of these cases have in common is that they are part of a movement of “sovereign citizens,” according to law enforcement officials. Sovereigns—also called “freemen on the land” or “organic citizens”—believe that an illegitimate, usurper federal government has taken over, and that they don’t have to pay taxes, pull over their cars for police or obey any other law they don’t like.

These beliefs may sound silly, but sovereigns can be difficult to laugh off. For one thing, even though they don’t believe they’re subject to laws, they use laws as weapons. The FBI has called sovereigns “paper terrorists” because they so often fight perceived enemies—generally public employees—by filing false liens, false tax documents or spurious lawsuits. These can hurt the victim’s credit, stymie attempts to sell or refinance property, and take years and thousands in legal fees to correct.

The trouble doesn’t stop there. When involved in any legal matter, from pet licensing to serious criminal charges, sovereigns are known for filing legal-sounding gibberish, usually pro se, learned from other sovereigns who sell lessons in “law” online. Frequently, they cite the Uniform Commercial Code, maritime law and the Bible.”

It's tragically ironic how similar these people are to those they despise.
So because local LE isn't kicking out the FBI, they're vandalizing them??? How disgusting! More crimes to prosecute them on.

Sealed indictments can mean it will be unsealed after making a new arrest(s). So maybe there's going to be some more in the pokey.

John Sepulvado ‏@JohnLGC 11m11 minutes ago
so, what i haven't been telling y'all is for the past 36 hours i've been in communication with the militants at the refuge 1/5

John Sepulvado ‏@JohnLGC 11m11 minutes ago
i've called every four hours -- most of these conversations have been short. 2/5

John Sepulvado ‏@JohnLGC 10m10 minutes ago
the FBI was concerned about the militants poisoning themselves because they were sleeping in their cars with their engines on 3/5

John Sepulvado ‏@JohnLGC 9m9 minutes ago
they're not doing that anymore -- they're also not talking with anyone. I was called about fifteen minutes ago by an unknown number 4/5

John Sepulvado ‏@JohnLGC 8m8 minutes ago
and told that as of 12:50, there would be no more external communications -- meaning i can't call in. I was not able to reach them at 1:30.

It'll be so fascinating to see how these folks mount a defense against the feds, whose authority they don't recognize. Yet, they are begging for money for legal costs so it seems as though they do plan to attempt to defend themselves.....:waitasec:

Yeah, I guess they really didn't think this through, which appears to be a recurring issue with them. Personally, I'd like to thank them for reminding us all of a very valuable lesson; you can't have your cake and eat it too.

First of all, thanks Dr. Know? Secondly, Wow! and thirdly, in relation to the bolded above, I just am so sure that at least one of the callers we heard the other night was FBI or someone working with them.

To clarify, I am not saying we heard John Sepulvado call in.

What is up with the maritime law thing? It gets mentioned a lot.

The document could be partially unsealed sometime Thursday. http://www.opb.org/news/series/burn...cutors-bring-sealed-indictment-in-bundy-case/ …

Maybe partially since Sean and possibly the other 3 haven't been taken into custody yet or S. Cox and other released need rearrested or heck, maybe even Cliven himself will be arrested. Can't wait for it to be released.

You know, I think this information needs to be widely disseminated across our fair land, where thousands of people with legitimate legal matters are forced to wait eons for justice because of whackadoodles like this clogging up the courts. I don't think that would garner a lot of support for the "freemen on the land" from the American citizens.

Sometimes I think maybe they have thought it through and they're working on some kind of long con. I think Bundy anticipated winding up in court and it's just another step toward whatever his warped final goal is.

This is what the American Patriot Friends Network says about maritime law:

The flags displayed in State courts and courts of the United States have gold or yellow fringes. That is your WARNING that you are entering into a foreign enclave, the same as if you are stepping into a foreign embassy and you will be under the jurisdiction of that flag. The flag with the gold or yellow fringe has no constitution, no laws, and no rules of court, and is not recognized by any nation on the earth, and is foreign to you and the United States of America. more information

When you enter a courtroom displaying a gold or yellow fringed flag, you have just entered into a foreign country, and you better have your passport with you, because you may not be coming back to the land of the free for a long time. The judge sitting under a gold or yellow fringe flag becomes the "captain" or "master" of that ship or enclave and he has absolute power to make the rules as he goes. The gold or yellow fringe flag is your warning that you are leaving your Constitutionally secured RIGHTS on the floor outside the door to that courtroom.

This is exactly why so many judges are appointed, and not elected by the people. The Federal judges are appointed by the President, the national military commander in chief. The State judges are appointed by the Governors, the state military commanders. The judges are appointed because the courts are military courts and civilians do not "elect" military officers.

Under martial law, you are presumed guilty until proven innocent.

I can't believe there's a conspiracy theory I've never heard of!

octobermoon, you're the best. I don't know how you find this stuff!

Based on the sealed indictments (until tomorrow), the 'ending' of phone communications as reported by John Sepulvado, and the rumored activity mentioned in the very beginning of this interview, it sounds to me like the end is near for these four.

Hmm, he is talking about the FBI coming in as body guards for the ranchers who are coming in to do some irrigation.

also, I wanna be transparent why we didn't report on those conversations until now- one, I told them I wouldn't. 1/4

John Sepulvado ‏@JohnLGC 13m13 minutes ago Portland, OR
they were spooked they would lose all phone access. david fry told me if he or anyone else was quoted FBI would cut all lines.

John Sepulvado ‏@JohnLGC 12m12 minutes ago Portland, OR
reporting what they said could have inflamed tensions at the time, and also would have tipped other media that communication possible 3/4

John Sepulvado ‏@JohnLGC 12m12 minutes ago Portland, OR
I didn't want other press to know because a) didn't want to spook them or FBI w/ flood of calls b) frankly, I wanted @OPB to have exclusive.

full story based on conversations to come tomorrow afternoon.
