I think losing youtube connection may be for their own good...

In Fry's live-stream video, Anderson yelled, "They're going to murder all of us," referring to the FBI and other officers who began surrounding the refuge.

"American people better wake up and get here and fight for your country right now, it is on," he said. "If they stop you from getting here, kill them."

He seemed a little frantic, unsure of what was to come. Said they had enough supplies to stay, though

Reporter was asked if Cox was still in or out of jail.

@SPA_2 @JohnLGC @OPBnews @ameliaOPB @ryanjhaas @amandapeacher she's out

Psych ops. Make them feel totally isolated. Better yet, leave on the cell phone for incoming calls for just one guy to breed dissention among the 4, and oh yah, make it the guy who the others are least likely to trust.

How does it work legally? Cutting off someone's calls I mean?

Robert 'LaVoy' Finicum yelled at police, 'Just shoot me,' witness says

Cox said Finicum, 54, charged towards the roadblock and hit the brakes.

"We kind of slid through the snow," she said. "Then bullets started flying."

Finicum jumped out but Cox didn't see what happened because she was on the floor. She said she thought he was wearing a bulletproof vest.

"He was yelling, 'Just shoot me, just shoot me, just shoot me,' That's all he said. And then they did,"

From the link above

Cox said in the phone interview that Finicum was wearing a holster with a pistol in it when he was shot. She questioned why he would reach for a gun in his pocket.

The water-rights issue is a complicated topic, completely separate from the rangeland issue. It involves water rights and who is upstream versus who is downstream. There are historic claims to water.

The alternative of using fields for human food rather than using fields for animal food is also an entirely different subject: it is debatable whether one strategy is more sustainable than the other. We could be reminded that grain agriculture for human consumption was a primary cause of the dust bowl years.

Plus, the rangeland used for meat livestock is not suitable for irrigation, plants, or a whole lot of anything except grazing. If you look at photos of the area around Burns, you will see what I mean. A lot of the West is like this.

<modsnip> They turned Israel, a desert, into bloom. One current example of land management

Even reading Cox's own words that RL did have a gun & he got out yelling shoot me, shoot me, I doubt these knuckleheads will admit they are true. jmo

I would guess the FBI got a court order for their providers to shut off their service.

I could only listen to a minute or two. She is hard to understand. What I got is they were set up and ambushed and there was someone on the inside telling LE their plans. The big top secret plan they let everyone know about.

  • #692
I thought maybe theyy were too busy trying to get killed to pay their phone bills :P

This is supposedly Shawna Cox talking about Lavoy's death but I couldn't make out what she's saying and it could be an interview by Miss Piggy for all I know. So FWIW:

Scroll down the comments at the link and there is a link to a site where it originated. Skip to about 10-15 minutes where Cox tells her story of what happened. It's a little clearer. I can't and won't post it. lol

I made it to about the 5 minute mark. Very low tolerance today, might try again later.

What I did get in the beginning was that she was not initially planning on going to John Day, that she had plans to go home but some other person who was going to John Day for some reason couldn't go so Shawna was going just to take pictures.

The problem with that is, imo, Shawna seems to be an Administrative Assistant to the Bundy family. i believe zhe has been in on all the planning of this series of events.

One thing is all of the 100's of shots to the truck. Cox said the windows were all blown out. They weren't in the video FBI put out. liar

Another was Mark (forget his last name now). Cox said he set them up to all ride together to the meeting. He wasn't arrested so without saying it out loud that he was an informant, Cox did say she believes he set them up.

I just don't get how they can think they are so innocent in everything they do! Just reading their post on fb today has exhausted my mind. later...

The scene inside the car was a nightmare, she said.

"They open fire and keep blowing holes in it," she said. "It was evidence that they had every intention of killing us. They didn't want us to live."

She said police fired hundreds of bullets.

"It was like riddling a tin can," she said. "And the lasers were everywhere."

Police said they used less-than-lethal rounds and fired flash-bang devices and sponge projectiles with pepper spray capsules to pierce the windows and draw the occupiers out of the truck.

Cox said after police released smoke bombs, she got out of the car with Sharp and Ryan Bundy and were taken into custody, she said.

JMO if the police wanted them all dead and shot hundreds of bullets, they'd all be dead.

If Shawna Cox and Victoria Sharp are on the floor, how do they know what was really happening. Shawna says LE continued shooting Finicum after he was dead. How would she know?

Finicum jumped out but Cox didn't see what happened because she was on the floor. She said she thought he was wearing a bulletproof vest."He was yelling, 'Just shoot me, just shoot me, just shoot me,' That's all he said. And then they did,"
Cox's description closely matches that given by Sharp in a You
Tube video.

She said they kept shooting him even after he was dead.

The one that some (Shawna) seem to think is a snitch is a guy named Mark McConnell.

Here is a video he made that tells what he knows. It is fairly easy listening. He and the Singing Sharp person were originally detained and released. He said all the others were transported to Portland immediately.

I can't believe anyone thinks this is about liberty and the Constitution. I know they do and I believe them when they say it, but I don't understand how their brains get there.

The Bundys and friends should all take a trip to North Korea.

Mike Noel warned Utah woman arrested in Oregon standoff not to go

“Public-lands protester Shawna Cox, 59, of Kanab, faces felony charges that could land her in prison stemming from a standoff with law enforcement authorities in eastern Oregon.

Cox is well-liked in Kanab and nearby Fredonia, Ariz., and is known as a sweet, churchgoing family woman who holds strong views on public lands and constitutional issues.”

*

“Cox's husband, Don Cox, has called her a "patriot." He could not be reached Wednesday by The Salt Lake Tribune.

But her close friend, Mike Noel, who represents the Kanab area in the Utah Legislature, has known Cox for some 40 years and described her as a stalwart in her community.

She goes to church every Sunday, has a large family and is active in politics, Noel said Wednesday.

Cox is also involved in the area's tea party movement. She has written a book about Cliven Bundy, the Nevada rancher who forced a standoff with the Bureau of Land Management in 2014, called "Last Rancher Standing: The Cliven Bundy Saga, a Close-up View."

Cox was in Nevada during that standoff and developed close relationships with Bundy and his sons Ryan and Ammon, who were among those taken into custody Tuesday. Ammon Bundy is seen as the organizer of the Oregon protest.

Noel said he warned Cox not to go to Oregon for several reasons: It's the wrong state, the wrong federal agency (U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service) and the wrong approach.”

There is more...

If he were a snitch wouldn't they be pretending to charge him along with the others?
