Sure he has, he's been asking for donations :)

Which he has continued to do from jail. So he really doesn't need to go home to provide for his family.

http://www.westernjournalism.com/or...huge-announcement-thatll-ratchet-up-tensions/

The “Call to Action” demands Oregon state police detain the FBI agent in charge and all others involved in the shooting of Finicum, the immediate removal of all “militarized FBI personnel and equipment from Harney County” and the immediate resignation of local officials who have opposed the occupation.
In order to successfully accomplish our mission, we will need any and all Americans to peacefully assemble within Burns, Oregon immediately,” the document reads. “The success of this mission depends fully on the number of people that will come to peacefully stand and demand the items above be initiated.”

Wiki:

Burns Oregon:
Area 3.55 sq mi
Population (estimate 2012) 2,729

Bet they'd be really happy if any and all 322,369,319 Americans peacefully assembled there.

Our goal is to show the country that this county does support what is going on,” said B.J. Soper, a Burns resident who organized a rally Saturday that drew more than 100 people and dozens of vehicles, some with U.S. flags and some with Confederate flags.

If they're all about the Constitution, what the devil are they doing with the Confederate flags?

The irony is that they want government handouts but are anti government. They're a confederacy of dunces... (borrowing the phrase from John Kennedy Toole).

I guess he didn't read this article:

Oops... I hate it when that happens...when I didn't intend to be part of an armed occupation but somehow it just comes to me and I have no idea how I even got there :0

Oh, that's reassuring. A sheriff in Idaho defending lawbreakers and saying they have to defend themselves (with guns, presumably) rather than face consequences for breaking the law.

I have had enough of this abomination and I'm going to eat some hot dogs.

“We will never be stopping at your place again,” wrote one man, a bird enthusiast who promised to organize a boycott. “My only regret is that we won’t be seeing your sweet dog again.”

“Please stop feeding the American Terrorists,” wrote another. And a third: “You are providing aid to the domestic terrorists that are occupying a federal building near Burns. They should be in jail and so should you.”

The conflict has left Ms. Gainer and her small staff — Lori, Anna and Vicki — frazzled and worried. This was the busiest January they’ve had. (That’s a phrase you hear all around town.) But bird enthusiasts are their lifeblood, and if they boycott (birding season starts next month at the Malheur, when the first migrating sandhill cranes, tundra swans and northern pintails arrive), it could kill the cafe.

“We’re really worried that this business may not stay in business,” Ms. Gainer said. “It depends on how the birders react.”

Looks like there are more counter-protesters then protesters in Burns today.

If they stay there after everyone left with the promise of amnesty are they not breaking the law? Sometimes they say they saw everyone leave and other times they say they were left behind and had no idea. They're all worked up about Sean getting arrested but by this time (IMO) they're intentionally disobeying LE and should have to answer for it. The refuge isn't a campground.

Prohibited Activities
Fires, swimming, camping, and collecting natural objects such as plants, animals, insects, minerals, antlers, and objects of antiquity (including Indian artifacts) are prohibited.

Yes, but (according to the IIIers) they are either government employees or hired protesters.

Meanwhile, LaVoy Finicum's lawyer, Todd MacFarlane, was in Boise this weekend for a property rights workshop that was planned before the standoff began.

He says right now the focus is on Finicum's grieving family in Arizona, getting the body released and arranging his funeral. The next step, he says, is accountability.

"Obviously, we're interested in seeing the results of the investigation and looking at all the evidence so that's a bridge we'll have to cross, but I will say the Finicum family has been approached by some high profile plaintiff attorneys and they have asked me to screen and be a buffer there," said MacFarlane.

He said the family needs more information before moving forward, including going over the FBI released video of Finicum's shooting by Oregon State Police, which the FBI says was warranted.

So the Patriot types want to ride their All Terrain Vehicles through there, the cattle ranchers want to graze their cattle through there, Fish & Game want to protect the wildlife through there and... the government wants the uranium through there, and so do the Koch Bros. and their power company partners. Shawna Cox' husband:
Cox's husband said the family planned to hire "a big expensive legal team" to fight the charges against her.

Don Cox also said his wife isn't a terrorist or anti-government.

"But there's some things in the government that are not right," he said. "This has always been about putting God back in American and back in our schools."

Like, AmGoderican? AmeGodrican?
The occupiers seem to have had such differing agendas... Free the Hammonds... Give us free grazing... I hate the government cuz they spoiled the job market... The feds shouldn't own any lands... They arrested me unfairly... Conspiracies... I'm not against the government but some things aren't right... I just hate everyone and always do stupid stuff when I get mad... Put God back in our schools...
Shawna Cox presented her detailed version of the traffic stop in a recorded interview that a conservative activist posted on Saturday. In it, she said Finicum told officers before he died, "Just shoot me."

Ryan Bundy's wife, Angela, said in an interview with a Boise television station that her husband is "really shaken up" over the shooting death of Robert "LaVoy" Finicum, spokesman for the occupiers of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge.

The protest seemed to be de-escalating until this truck drove thru the crowd. One person claimed they were hit.

State troopers moved the truck along, and another one that followed. #Oregonstandoff

Many people are now walking away from the demonstration. An estimated 200 remain.

The chants have ended outside the Harney County Courthouse, or at least subsided for the moment. #Oregonstandoff

Pete Santilli, ordered held, will challenge ruling before another judge Tuesday

She cited his lack of ties to Oregon, the nature of his alleged offense, his role in the nearly month-long refuge occupation, the lack of an appropriate plan offered for his release, unstable residence and mental health concerns, according to Beckerman's detention order. She also cited statements he made in October, regarding complying with a government order.

Federal pre-trial services officers had recommended Santilli, 50, be released to a halfway house, but federal prosecutors opposed such an arrangement.
