Not much more to report. Such a horrible crime. Hope they find out who is responsible.

Wow. Shot in a gravel pit known to be used for recreational shooting practice.
I was thinking accidental shooting or murder/suicide but autopsies revealed they both died of "homocidal violence."

I wonder if they were shot in their backs. Otherwise it’s hard to imagine someone would approach two people who were obviously armed.

ETA i’m glad at least their dog wasn’t harmed
