Police make arrest in 2009 homicide of assistant federal public defender Nancy Bergeson

Portland police have made an arrest in the 2009 killing of assistant federal public defender Nancy Bergson, officials announced Saturday.

Homicide detectives arrested 28-year-old Christopher Alexander Williamson at a Tualatin address on Southwest Mohawk Street at 4:34 p.m. Friday. Williamson was booked into Multnomah County Inverness Jail at 10:41 p.m. on a single allegation of murder.
