Anyone know the significance of "43"? He used it in his business name, and I noticed he has it on an old FB profile he used under one of his aliases, "Justin Hyche". He posted a "Penn Foster High School diploma" in 2014...had another photo in 2015 that was captioned "San Francisco Mall". A few photos had "43" in them.

Negasi Zuberi, 29, is in federal custody for interstate kidnapping, the FBI's Portland Field Office said. He was arrested last month after a woman escaped from his home in Klamath Falls and claimed she was "kidnapped, shackled, sexually assaulted and locked in this makeshift cell," FBI Special Agent in Charge Stephanie Shark told reporters during a press briefing on Wednesday announcing the suspect's arrest.

According to the FBI, Zuberi also went by the names Sakima, Justin Hyche and Justin Kouassi, and he has lived in multiple states since 2016, possibly including California, Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Florida, New York, New Jersey, Alabama, and Nevada.

You have to wonder how many of these cells he has constructed over the years. He must have told his wife & kids some story about why this was in the garage? It’s not a one & done construction… lots of cinder blocks… when were they delivered or purchased? What reason did he give for them?!

He seems to have targeted women who are mainly involved with prostitution. Articles within this thread mention finding notes of his that indicated he targeted women who have no attachments to preventing anyone looking for her or initiating an investigation so it’s possible his focus was broader.

I have to wonder if this was an evolution of his MO. Is it possible he learned early on that it would arouse more suspicion if he targeted women with lots of social connections?

It looks like hyche goes back to his family name. That’s just from a rather quick look through true people search and then crossing that with social media. He was using the Sakima Zuberi name on FB to like one family members’ photos one year ago. IMO. This may have been brought up already and I missed it. So sorry, if so. I’ll find out soon enough.

Well, this is weird for me as I lived on Eldorado Avenue in Klamath Falls as a kid. It strikes me as a very odd place for this guy to be living given his criminal endeavors. It's a small "city" with not a lot going on. Seems very likely a lot more will be discovered as the investigation continues. Very glad this woman was able to escape and stop him.

I couple things stand out to me based on my experience of dating a guy that kept a lot of secrets from me for years (still don't know what those secrets are; if he's a murderer, if he's gay, if he's CIA, if he's an alien, stopped trying to figure it out years ago).

Guy has low social media footprint, guy really wants to be in politics, guy moves to a small town (in my experience this is because politics are easier to get into in a small town). Once their foot is in a county or city seat, they think that's eventually a ladder to Governor or higher). Hides or minimizes any romantic relationships, expects his woman to be demure and quiet, like a pretty mannequin. Is VERY smart. Makes lots of money but you can't really tell how he does it. Is entrepreneurial but none of his endeavors really work out. College educated. Craves power. Has a mother with a very strong relationship with God. Really gets off on trying to destroy powerful women, or any woman really.

I'd be interested to find out what his relationship with his parents (especially his mother) is like, I expect he doesn't have much of one with them.
