OR - PRESIDENTIAL PARDON - Militia members occupy federal building in Oregon after protest #4

I've read the FBI shot was before, after, a minute after LF exited the truck & the shot that grazed Ryan B. Important factor for trial. It will be twisted to no end in court...hurry up investigation.

I thought that Ryan B. got stuck with a piece of shrapnel somehow, that it was not the actual bullet that made contact, but I do not have a link to this info.

I should have come over to WS much earlier as I have been all over this and know that WS has some great analytical minds! :loveyou: But I must control myself since I am very opinionated about this case and the related Nevada one. Law enforcement is not perfect, but I must say that they responded well to both instances, remarkably so. Now we just have to find out when the shots were fired by the FBI HRT.

Does this woman really think this is going to help her career? This is really mind blowing.

Apparently this has been noticed by Indians all over the West, at least. One of my students who is involved with Indian affairs and who just secured a grant for his pueblo mentioned it. And in addition to the overall "feel" of the place after the outlaws occupied it, the place was a mess! Trashed! The razing of the ground outside to make a new road didn't help.

There's several reporters there that have added some knowledge to all of this. Les Zaitz, Amanda Peacher, JJmcaknab, Maxine Berstein, Ryan H, Conrad Wilson. Several others too.

Not sure about any of them. jmo but I like apple pie the best.

Agreed! I've been almost obsessed with the news about both Nevada and Oregon. Very good reporting, especially from Oregon.

Are the Nevada taxpayers aware that this woman is gallavanting all over the country instead of working in Nevada for them? I hope she isn't using a budget the taxpayers are providing. Go HOME!! This is not your state. All she is doing is traveling around - she can't do a damn thing.

I wondered the same thing and posted upthread. It's a career killer for her, no doubt--and that is the least of the moronic ethics involved.

I pretty much thought it was MM who's name was redacted. There's a video by one of the militia that says MM's name is not on any document (1st release) haven't read this new one yet. They all thought he was undercover. He could have just talked first to get the deal.

That redacted name in the Bundy et al indictment? Could be a cooperating witness, according to ex-federal prosecutor http://www.opb.org/news/series/burn...prosecution-ammon-bundy/#.Vudd2nka9aA.twitter …

Moronic ethics are taking over the country. The really unfortunate thing is that people seem to be eating that $#!t up with a spoon..

This case will be won or lost at the jury selection process. If the defence can get enough rightwing pro-militia sympathizers on the jury, it will end in a hung jury and a mistrial. That is going to be difficult for them to accomplish though.

Bullet casings disappear from LaVoy Finicum shooting scene, sources say

A state trooper later described to investigators seeing two rifle casings in the area where the agents were posted. Detectives tasked with collecting evidence didn't find the casings, police reports indicate.

FBI aerial surveillance video shows that before the detectives could get there, the FBI agents searched the area with flashlights and then huddled, according to law enforcement sources who have seen the video. The group then broke and one agent appeared to bend over twice and pick up something near where the two shots likely were taken, the sources told The Oregonian/OregonLive.

“On a cold January morning, a posse led by a former Army company commander named Matt Shea rolled into the Harney County Courthouse and wanted to speak to the sheriff.

But this wasn’t a group of militants, or outlaws. They were state lawmakers from four western states, including Oregon. Most of them were members of a group called the Coalition of Western States, or COWS.”
