Union woman remains missing

LA GRANDE — Law enforcement says there are no new updates in the missing person case of Rebecca "Becckie" Lilleston, of Union.

LA GRANDE — Law enforcement says there are no new updates in the missing person case of Rebecca "Becckie" Lilleston, of Union.

According to family members, Lilleston has been missing since Sunday, July 9. Her last known location was the Mount Harris area. Union County Sheriff Cody Bowen said his office searched the area several days when they were first notified of her disappearance but found no leads.

Bowen said no new information has been provided to the sheriff's office by the family, and that no new developments have occurred after the search was called off.

Her car is a midnight blue/black 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe, license plate number 191 MYZ.

Family members ask that anyone with information about Lilleston's disappearance contact the Union County Sheriff's Office at 541-963-1017.

Body of missing Union woman located

LA GRANDE — A missing Union woman was found deceased on Saturday, Aug. 26, in the greater Mount Harris area, the Union County Sheriff’s Office announced in a press release.

LA GRANDE — A missing Union woman was found deceased on Saturday, Aug. 26, in the greater Mount Harris area, the Union County Sheriff’s Office announced in a press release.

Rebecca "Becckie" Lilleston was reported missing on July 9, and her last cellphone activity was shown to be in the Mount Harris area. She was found after a family spotted a crashed vehicle in the bushes below the Rock Springs overlook on the USFS 62 Road northeast of Cove, which prompted a Union County Sheriff’s Office-led effort.
The family contacted the Union County 911 dispatch to report the vehicle immediately after it was found.
