I might post the same info as Lilibit,

but the strangest thing about LA is the youtube videos many of you have probably seen. If you look up the url to the video on his website about mining it leads to "helias314". On Stephanie's FB she mentions 314helias which is a different youtube user with a lot of similar things as helias314. These two persons seemed to post youtube videos at opposite intervals of each other (like one of them takes off for months from posting videos while the other one takes off and posts a lot of videos). Now the strange thing is you would suspect these are the same people. When the Helias that is away comes back he gets comments like welcome back and he responds to them. I will have to find the comments. Anyhow, the strangest is one of the helias's comments on the other helias.

I just find it very bizarre, more bizarre than the videos.

Somewhere in the comments I got the impression that his Helias channel got taken down and he came back reversing the name. I will probably never find it again, so I'm not going to try.

There is a video on 314Helias representing himself and it Helias314 says it is his little brother. Who really knows though. Just seems odd is all since Stephanie refers to 314Helias and not Helias314 (confusing I know)

I'm re-posting my earlier deleted comment about the gap in the posting of videos 7/3-11. I sent a less opinionated version of this to the sheriff twice and finally got a response.

IMO Those videos are bizarre, radical and revolutionary. They attract people who are ready for "action" if you read the comments. Unfortunately, Stephanie seems to be deeply involved in some very heavy stuff, whether she realizes it or not.

These are the kinds of "movements" that might make her feel she needs to cut off contact, even with her Mom for the sake of the "cause." If she is alive (and I cling to hope), she may have gone "underground." I know I'm the one who is sounding bizarre now! I must have watched too many 314Helias videos! But really, who ARE these people?!!!

Alternatively, she knew too much and was deemed a threat to the cause. Either way, whatever happened certainly might have taken the amount of time there was video silence.

He recently posted a video of his son playing music. This is the same one who played on the JCFC float in the parade. I really believe both Helias channels are the bf.

I don't know what to think about Stephanie's comments.

"Little brother" is his son. I'm wondering if he started 314Helias in his son's name after Helias314 stopped. But we probably shouldn't start discussing his son, so that's all I'll say.

Yeah, This whole thing is just so odd. I just hope they find something with all that they have looked into. I always go back to her FB and the last time stamp on the game. I wonder if they ever looked into her computer. I also have always thought that the BF would have posted a conspiracy theory or something, anything about Stephanie on his youtube channel. I wonder if they will do forensics on the BF computer since he is so active on it.

I just want to send hugs to any of Stephanie's friends and family who might be reading here. Although we are happy that a POI has been named at last, Stephanie is still missing. It is still heartbreaking for those who know her and love her.

I also want to thank JCSO for their hard work so far. We've been frustrated at times, but it's better to slowly and carefully gather the evidence they need so they can make a case if necessary. I hope they can finish this soon.

I will keep hoping for Stephanie's safe return, optimist that I am.

That last sentence is not exactly true. Plenty of people have been named suspects before a missing person has been found, some even convicted of murder. JMO

IIRC, Whitney Heichel's body was found after Holt's arrest (Gresham, Oregon case last fall).

Another case, Brooke Wilberger (Corvallis, Oregon):
"Wilberger's remains were found on September 21, 2009, more than five years after she disappeared. The man accused of her murder, Joel Courtney, revealed the location of her remains as part of a plea agreement." (Wikipedia)

LE had enough PC on Holt and on Courtney to make arrests. Det Henderson may consider calling Gresham and Corvallis LE if he is unclear what is needed. Lonnie Ames seems like a man who may "wander" in the coming days.

Thanks. I agree. I just googled it because it didn't seem right.

I still wish the police could have arrested Josh Powell for his wife Susan's murder even though she has never been found. Two little boys would still be alive.

Yup. I just saw part of the KOBI interview from July with Ames and his son that was never posted online. Medford Fox News 26, which is affiliated with KOBI, played it as part of tonight's story. This time I hope they post it. I want everyone here to see him.

I agree that it's been concealed. I'm surprised that the truck and trailer are still there after the court case about having a permanent residence at the mine. It appears to be the same trailer that was in the 2008 video Ellie posted. The make isn't visible to me, but maybe it is to you.

I asked my dh if he could tell what make it is. He said "Piece of Junk."
