Grants Pass police are asking for tips to find a woman who disappeared after visiting her mother in Rogue River.

Tina Moriarty, 47, of Grants Pass, was last seen wearing red tennis shoes, black baggy pants and a red and white checkered short-sleeve shirt when she left her mother's home at 12:15 a.m. Tuesday, according to a release issued by the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety. She is described as a white female, 5-feet 4-inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with brown shoulder length hair, hazel eyes and a tattoo on the back of her neck.

She was last seen driving a dark blue 2008 Mercury Grand Marquis sedan with license plate 708 HCN, according to police, but she never returned home to her Grants Pass home in the 400 block of J Street.

Police say Moriarty has been known to frequent Seven Feathers Casino, but have thus far been unable to locate her.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety at 541-450-6260.

From her mother's home in Rogue River to her home is approx 10 miles/19 min. I wonder if she works and had to get up that morning. Would she go to the casino (approx an hour drive north) at 12:15 a.m.? They would surely have video if she did... Google Maps

Seven Feathers Casino is located at 146 Chief Miwaleta Ln, Canyonville, OR 97417.

Hoping that the description and photo of the car will jog someone's memory and they'll contact the police or that it's been captured on cctv.

Her mother must be beside herself with worry.

Hoping and praying that Tina is located safe and soon.

The Grants Pass Department of Public Safety is looking for Tina Moriarty, 47, of Grants Pass.
The Grants Pass Department of Public Safety is looking for Tina Moriarty, 47, of Grants Pass. She was last seen leaving her mother's home in Rogue River just after midnight Tuesday morning. Her husband of 11 years, Dave Moriarty, says Tina is the responsible one of the pair and her not coming home is out of character.
He says there were a lot of cops at his house when he filed the police report. “They all have questions,” he says. “Of course, the million-dollar questions was ‘were we fighting?’”
He says the authorities pointed out his BB gun, which he says he uses to shoot raccoons on his property.
Tina asked him on Monday if he wanted to join her and her mother for pizza in Rogue River and he declined because he was tired from work. Dave says he feels guilty for not going. “If I would’ve went, she’d still be here,” says Dave. “Even if something bad would’ve happened, at least we would have been together.”
“Everyone says I shouldn’t feel guilty about that, but I do,” says Dave. “I’m her husband. We’re supposed to look out for each other and I feel like I’ve let her down.”
“I’m numb,” he says. “I’ve been crying so much.”
Dave says Tina and her mother were out until 9:30 p.m. “I called her and asked when she was coming home and she said, ‘I’ll be home in a couple hours,’” he says.
Dave says it’s not unusual for Tina to stay out with her mom. When he woke up around midnight, he noticed Tina wasn’t in bed with him. He says he then called Tina’s mom, who said Tina had just left. “Rogue River to [their house] is 7 miles. You can be here in 10 minutes or so.”
He says hours went by with no sign of Tina. “Every car that came down the road I thought was my car pulling in the driveway,” he says. “But it wasn’t.”
He called his mother-in-law again and told her Tina didn’t come home.
“At 7 a.m. yesterday I started looking around,” he says. “There are so many people that have been looking for Tina.”
Dave says Tina’s family from Redding, as well as her coworkers at Winco, have joined in on the search for her.
“She just needs to come home,” he says. “I miss and love her so much. I can’t see myself without my wife.”
Dave says Tina is an upbeat, caring, and happy person. “She can take a bad situation and make a good one out of it,” he says. “She’ll put a smile on your face and lift you up.”
Tina Moriarty is described as a white woman of about 5'4" and weighing approximately 150 pounds. She has brown, wavy, shoulder-length hair, and a tattoo on the back of her neck. She drives a 2008 Mercury Grand Marquis 4 door sedan, dark blue in color. The vehicle has an Oregon license plate, “708 HCN.”
During the interview, a story about Tina's disappearance came on the TV playing in the background. “There she is, right there," Dave said, gesturing to the screen. "It’s one thing to talk and do interviews and have cops show up, but when you see your wife’s picture on TV as a missing person, it gets real. It gets real, real fast.”
Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call the GPDPS at (541) 450-6260.
