That guy's twitter seems suspicious.

1) He has no followers until today
2) No posts until today to tell to all newsreporters about some interesting story developing on FB
3) Earliest and first post was about prankdial and then talks iphone app and then tweets to starbucks about whitney and says "..ur barista..." and then this spam to all reporters.

What is it about horrible stories that brings out the whack-a-doodles?

Yes that's what I recall also. Will try to find a MSM link to verify the reported time the family discovered the vehicle.
Good luck with that. They are reporting both.As I listened to the press conference it seamed to me he said the SUV was dropped off at 11:17.

wait a second.

"The passenger side window was busted out, the back seats were down, there was mud on her tires, which it wasn't that way the night before," said Clint Heichel.

in her interview, lorilei stated that whitney "and a few of her siblings" were at the house the night before. she did not say clint was there. so did clint come out and greet her when she got home? and noticed clean tires?

"The window was busted out, the backseats were down and there was mud on the tires and the car wasn't like that this morning," Clint said.

did he walk her out that morning and see the car? in no way am i insinuating anything...just wondering if this is the usual misreporting.

TIA

I took it as Clint saying there was mud on the tires and it wasn't there the night before.

Nothing strange about that... it is his wife's car.:twocents:

So sad

This is local to me and I have a 21 year old daughter so it feels personal to me. That said, I am hoping and praying that she left voluntarily, as unlikely as that is. I remember the case a while back with a woman who had a baby that no one thought would leave her husband and child and it turned out she did. I guess it could happen even though I would be very surprised if it did.
She disappeared around 7 am and the car apparently was seen after 9 am with her in it. What was going on for those 2 hours with her still alive? Why didn't she try and get help at the gas station? Is it positive that she was in the passenger seat? I am hoping for any scenario in which she is alive.
Kind of OT but this is why I bought my daughter a car. She works in a grocery store in a very bad neighborhood and there are times she needs to be there very early or stay very late and I hated the idea of her walking to the MAX and waiting in the dark. This shows that even with a vehicle you can be at risk but less of a risk then walking around. I pray this girl is alive no matter what.

<snip>

Meanwhile, detectives spent Wednesday night protecting an area of interest on Larch Mountain that was discovered during a search. Larch Mountain Road was closed just past milepost 6. Officials would not comment on the nature of the search on Larch Mountain, but disclosed they were calling in specialized teams to examine the area. They described the area as remote

On Thursday morning, a KOIN crew noted that several suspicious items appeared to have been found on the mountain. Multnomah County sheriff’s deputies examined the items and confirmed that they were “out of place” for Larch Mountain. Photographs of the items were taken, and deputies said an evidence specialist would collect them.

There was no estimate on when the road would be re-opened, but detective estimated they would be on scene for much of Thursday.

Paraphrase?

I think in this case it's best not to because I've seen comments like this on FB in dozens of cases and it starts the ultimate rumor. It's just responsible posting to try and keep rumors off Websleuths, IMO.

no, but he didn't go out with her to her mom's that night. so did he see it when she got home, and then did he walk her out to her car that morning at 6:45?

if (big if) the glass in the apartment's parking lot was from her car, he would've seen a shattered window then too?

again this could simply be a case of a reporter mincing his words...wouldn't be the first time...

I have been trying to keep up with Whitney's disappearance.

What was said at the press conference?

I hope that Whitney is okay. Her poor family!
