Does Clint have a FB or is it been disabled? Since when has his FB account been disabled?

You're kidding!? This can't be right surely...

Does this mean if someone picked my pocket and got my CC/Debit card they could just fill their car up with gas no questions asked?

I'm in UK so not sure if I'm understanding this right.

I've handed over my card for gas repeatedly and can't remember one time when I had to sign for it. I don't use a PIN number.

There are so many messages and the thread is moving so fast... does anyone have a link to any maps/addresses of the gas stations? Also, did they only buy gas at the gas stations, or did they go to the ARCO stations that allow you to use a debit with a PIN to get cash back?

If he only went to major gas stations like Chevron and Texaco, and purchased small amounts, I wonder if it was to get enough gas in her car to take a longer trip, but made so many small stops because he wanted to avoid being seen on many cameras, or was afraid she would start making a scene if they waited long enough to get a full tank? :(

We don't allow sleuthing his FB. We can only discuss Whitney's, MSM FBs and FBs started up to find her.

Family and friends are off limits.

Why did Whitney have to park on the street? The apt. complex has a parking lot, doesn't it?

Good question! If she came home after dark (after everyone was basically home from work) I'd think those spots were already taken...
At least they always were where I lived...

I only lived in Apartments for a few years but I SWEAR!!! I never came home once where ANYONE was just hanging out and available to help me "park" my SUV... BUT I never "got to know" anyone in my complexes either... I never spent more than a year at each place either soo...

When I was newly married I was either working or spending "time" with my hubs.
meeting "new folks" wasn't much of a priority at that time.. If ya know what I mean... We had no $ to go out and socialize much anyway...

Just would be my rotten luck I'd have to park in some dark corner of the lot and walk a good distance too! (ALONE, I might add)

I WONDER if the parking beside the apartments isn't a spot residents pay for?
Was it covered? I forgot already! I KNOW the single garages at apts usually have a monthly fee...

In Oregon is a PIN or signature required when you purchase small amounts of gas?
snipped by me.

I never really thought about this before, but when I buy gas here, and I usually spend $40, I hand the attendant my bank card and have never been asked for a PIN or signature. I don't know if they run it as an ATM or as a credit card.

:what: Quote from news conf.

"We knew the cell-phone ended up there, but we had good reason to believe the vehicle had been in a plethora of locations." :what:

What a beautiful Laci Peterson smile? I wonder what time the last person saw her other than Clint, the night before? Was it the neighbor?

I'm confused, if they KNEW the cell phone ended up there why were THEy not searching for it? A person could have dumped her body with the phone so you would think if they KNEW where the phone was then they would be searching in that location. No?

Yes. Here in Oregon we don't get to pump our own gas. We pull up to a tank, someone comes over, we hand them a card and they ask what type of gas we want. They swipe it and hand it back and we're on our way. They don't even look at the card.

Here we have chip&pin and I guess it is the same in the US. I'm just shocked that such a system like this would be allowed to operate.

I assume this only applies at gas stations where it is pumped for you? If not........:what:

Anyone else think that where the phone was found was a throw the phone out the car window type scenario? That is what I am thinking, and thus thinking no other evidence will be recovered near there. I could be wrong, of course.

With scent articles, no doubt.
Thanks! I was wondering if it was HRD or "scent".

Is there a way to tell one from another?

I was wondering since you don't pump your own gas and have a gas can that needs filing up do you pass the gas can to the attendant? Wondering if all the small purchases could have been for a gas can to burn evidence or maybe gas for another vehicle?

In case this hasn't been posted yet...

http://sexoffenders.oregon.gov/

Once you agree to the terms to not harass offenders and enter into the actual site, you can look at the links at the top and it allows you to map addresses and it will show offenders w/in a 1-mile radius.

This guy knows his way around and hit up 257th twice... he has to live in that area.

Was the broken glass possibly from her kicking the window out in the middle of her abduction? I find it weird that someone would bust open a window on the passengers side and not the driver's side. Just my thoughts.
