Mashabane is telling us how Oscar was prone to childish tantrums.. . he was in the habit of shouting 'get out! get out! ' to prison staff... you can imagine how well this was received.. Oscar didn't like the paperwork or the unending checking up and counting and recounting and rules and all the inconvenient stuff of prison.. Complaints about his medications, complaints about his supplements, complaints about the nursing staff, it seemed all too much for poor Oscar..

Oddly, the staff he mainly screamed at were all female... make of that what you will, peoples.

All those complaints about every little thing and yet he forgot to put on the record that he'd heard a rape and suicide? I guess that was as real as the invisible highway shooter that never was.

Mashabane: I explained that it was our responsibility to check on him. We were doing our duties . during her morning rounds Pistorius he said - get out, get out, I am still sleeping.

Mashabane: About a prescription for a supplement. He banged on the table with a notebook as the supplement had to be checked by our doctor before we could give it to him.

Nel: Did he talk about your competence?
Mashabane: Yes...... he was degrading the other Dr and myself, that we "are not competent"

Nel: Next - An appn for a private Doc, did u assist with that?
Mashabane: Yes , his own private Doc, there is an appn form, I explained how it works, he needs to complete part of the appn form with contact details
He didn't return it for 2 days. Day 3 he brought it back. I said let me phone Dr van Wyk. I phone Dr van Wyk for address. Do you know OP, she said yes. I drove in my own car all the way to van Wyk 's address as I did not want to delay OP so the forms could be completed. Van Wyk didnt know howto complete the form
Nel: Dd she tell uyou how she knew OP? Did she tell u she was a cousin of Ops?
Mashabane: No. No

Eventually van Wyk was approved, a bit of to and fro on this

Another female prison doctor? - Nel inferring he has problems dealing with women?

IB, I thought she was pract at Steve Biko hosp. She just wasn't yet approved to be his private doc.
