Well (of course) there are more coming, but that message was written for the Tina Heins case, which announced the day after that message was posted.

Well @ChatteringBirds, here is another solve!

Honored that Othram could assist the Colorado Bureau Of Investigation and Pueblo Police Department in identifying a 2022 homicide victim as 39-year-old Steven Robinson. Today his killer was arrested as well. Solving human remains cases doesn't just help families. It improves public safety.

Colorado's Pueblo County John Doe (2022) is Now Identified

A small correction, I think the description at the page is meant to read 'buried him ON his family's property'? Right now it sounds like he's burying his family's belongings.

This is a prime example of why I never bother looking at the recreations of unidentified skulls. It never looks like the person. DNA is the only way to go!!
Amen!

I mean, reconstructions are meant to aid in identification. DNA is used for the actual identification.

With today's technology, DNA is probably a faster path to an identification.

Honored that Othram could assist the Cobb County ME, PD, and the Georgia Criminal Justice Coordinating Council in identifying a 1984 homicide victim as 20-year-old Veronica Jane Miller. An investigation into her death continues.

After 41 Years, Cobb County Jane Doe (1984) is Identified

I respectfully disagree. The distance between the eyes, cheekbones, line of the nose, distance between nose and lips, and chin shape are all similar. Forensic reconstructions are often last-ditch efforts to spark some recognition in people looking at them and promote further investigation for identification - dentals, DNA, etc. While it didn’t in this case, it certainly has in others. Reconstructions and stats (while provided by field experts and not always entirely accurate) do have value. Unfortunately, we don’t live in a world where DNA is available for all the missing and Does, I wish we did. Gratefully in this case, LE and ME stayed on it and although the 2011 DNA extraction did not prove fruitful, the 2022 by Othram did.

Honored that Othram could assist Saskatoon and Toronto Police Services to Identify Canada's "Woman in the Well". Her name is Alice Burke Spence, born in September 1881!

After 19 Years, Canada's "Woman in the Well" is Identified

This case made the national news with credit going to Othram. It's a lovely article with further details and a photo of three generations of her family. Thank you for making this successful identification of Canada's oldest unidentified person.

Honored that Othram could assist the Horry County Police Department in identifying a serial predator linked to multiple sexual assaults since the early 2000s, but never identified. This should never happen. These predators should be identified before they can commit a second crime.

A 2006 Sexual Assault Suspect is Now Identified

Wow. Kudos, kudos, kudos. To the multiple victims (I'm reading 5 linked cases from 2000-2006) for reporting the assaults, submitting evidence, and living their lives for all of those years in whatever way they best could. To LE for staying on it with the earlier work in CODIS and linking the cases to the same perpetrator and ultimately deciding to work with Othram. And, to Othram, for the passion and scientific expertise used in this incredibly humanitarian and just way to bring answers and identify this creep. I really, really appreciate your work and know that this kind of resolution will bring hope to many who may have lost it.

I read that SC didn't start requiring DNA submissions on certain felony offenses until 2010 - I presume that means he was not arrested for such OR I guess that he could have been and it was not done or not done correctly. Hard to imagine he hasn't had a victim since 2010.
