What do we know about the LE of Satsuma? How many officers? What are their backgrounds? Experience? Where do they live in relation to Satsuma? What are their prior relationships to Ron? Misty? Crystal? Maybe knowing this would put us more at ease, or maybe it would raise red flags?

Answered my own questioned -- it's the PUTNAM COUNTY SHERIFF`S DEPARTMENT.

I'm going to see if I can find the size of the Dept.

807 square miles is a lot of ground to cover. I do find it helpful. Most rural Sheriff Depts. are not very large and the task is usually to have officers in various areas to respond in a timely manner. This is not always possible. The fringes or more rural parts of the county often get less coverage by LE and have longer response times.

The last count I heard on investigators working Haleigh's case was 5. I don't know if this is strictly within the Sheriff's Dept. or if they are from various agencies. (I am sure they are not counting Cobra tho!)

Wow, 5 people? Hard to set up any kind of "task force" with only 5 people. Thankfully they've brought in the FBI (at least that is what I've heard). They have so many more resources, I'm sure.

Although, from what we've heard on the dispatch tapes that were released, it does sound like they were really on the ball with boats being sent out, copters, dogs, etc. So, that is a good thing.

I did find this little tidbit of info -- not that it has anything to do with LE:

"As of 2007, Satsuma (zip 32189)'s population is 6,035 people. Since 2000, it has had a population growth of 7.92 percent."

Ummm....we're pretty OT now. Back on topic -- I'm curious if Cobra is still in town, and if so, what he is doing? If he's there, he's been pretty under the radar.

No. Not just 5 people, Sorry. It is a bit misleading. 5 investigators will take the lead roles, but there will be the rest of the depts. and agencies with manpower to follow up whatever leads or searches need to take place under their direction. We don't know the number count on those participating in this case.

I emailed Art Harris yesterday concerning the video of TN and COBRA at that dwelling in the woods..There was a reply in my email box this morning.. Below is his reply to me...
Let me add, I posted the email that I sent to him on his site this morning if anyone is interested in reading the questions I presented to him...

"Post this on my website and I will comment for all to see. But I can tell you I shot the Cobra video and it was edited the way it happened, just shortened. Cobra has been there pro bono, and is not working for Picazio, though they do have a relationship, and he’s gotten tips for all sides. I feel confident if he uncovers information that is favorable or unfavorable to either side, he will report it to LE—unlike some unethical investigators in the Anthony case who were hired to spin and allegedly cover up for their clients. tx "

It was edited the way it happened? Ummm, no. You left the majority of the tape out..no ifs, ands, buts about it. You don't edit an hour long video down to a few minutes and claim that's the way it went down..

I would think he has a reason to lie if he is editing things a certain way (ie - to tell a story in the videos to show things in a way that didn't really happen. When people supporting him are insisting that he is there because he cares about and wants to find Haleigh, it begs to ask where his motives really are if he is being paid. There's a difference between being there and caring about her with no strings attached vs being there and caring about her only because someone is paying him. If this man is only in this because he was brought in on the dollar, his motives are not purely about Haleigh... there are other things going on, so I can't buy into that he is only doing it for Haleigh.

I just have issues with people profiting off of missing children... if it isn't psychics, it's questionable people like in-your-face-media-loving bounty hunter/PIs. A good PI does not flaunt his work nor misleads his clients... bounty hunters chase fugitives with bounties on their heads: a missing child is not a fugitive. And a missing child should never be someone's money-maker...

Talking about Bounty Hunters...when my daughter was murdered and the killer was on the run this guy called my house. He said he was a Bounty Hunter and he would like to help find the killer. He wanted to meet me somewhere so I arranged to meet him at a resturant along with my kids. I will admit that I had a negative attitude about the whole thing going in but was curious so we met with him.

What a joke. Here comes this guy that looked like a cowboy reject. He was really pitiful. He bragged about himself and all he had done. He said he really wanted to help us out and find this killer.

It didn't take long to get to the real reason the guy wanted to help us so bad
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. I told him thanks but no thanks and we left.
He probably couldn't have found a killer if the killer was standing right in front of him. These guys tend to come out of the woodwork during a tragedy hoping you will be so emotionally disabled and so anxious to find the killer that you will do anything.

Cobra is a big blow hard just like this guy was. We know that Kim the attorney knew Cobra and I would bet that Geraldo is paying for both of them.

I have NO doubt that they are feeding negative items to the news outlets. I have no doubt that a-lot of this is nothing but smoke and mirrors to injure certain players in this case. Sad
