From the Orlando Sentinel of December 30, 2008: JB hired Dominic C. on July 28, 2008 and the contract was terminated on October 1, 2008. The headline for the article is"Casey Anthony's Attorney......"

If he's following the case like we are, he probably didn't trust the As with the tip. I know I certainly wouldn't be sharing it with them.

Maybe he thought differently and that it would be righteous and humanitarian to bring closure to the grandparents - albeit in a rather crude way. He seemed to desperately want anonymity in his calls to LE... he may have done the same with a call to the Anthonys.

So if the information came in any way from the defense as JB is concerned with...it would mean the defense knew about the location before October. Interesting. Whatever information came after Oct. 1st would not be under JB's "work product"...correct?

Nov 14-Dr.L views car..he goes to Baez says "you better come up with another story, cause the car still stinks of death" Baez goes to Casey, she tells him the truth..he is trying to figure how to spin this so he calls DC on to go to the area to find the body. DC calls Hoover..They search for TWO days , DC calls Baez after finding nothing.
I hope LE gets everyone ,who was willing to DIRTY their hands in helping cover-up the tragic death of a two year old.

IMO, it's altogether logical that the meter man mentioned his suspicions to someone other than LE between August and November. That information may have gotten around to DC. I wouldn't bet the farm that's the way it went down, but it's possible.

That is highly possible. I also thought perhaps Kronk's calls to LE were in with the "Tips" that were released on 10/28/08. I haven't taken the time to go through all of the psycho psychic tips to try to find Kronk's tips.

Gee, maybe the PI DC actually went to the Sheriff's Office and read all the tips on file. It would be very common for a lawyer to get the PI to read them all and make notes on any tips that weren't from dreams, psychic visions or voices only the tipster can hear. The information is public and the PI can access it by going to the office and there is no payment involved. Perhaps Baez was looking for all "live" sightings so that he could present the jury with all the credible live sighting tips that LE did not follow up with but, while perusing the tip files, DC came across 3 reports by MR about something suspect in the woods. Baez, like any one else I know that ever practiced law, was not going to pay DC to go looking in swamps and woods for a smelly garbage bag. Once DC was no longer employed with Baez, maybe he went to visit MR to check out his story which led him to the area. If you recall when MR called in the first report, he said something like "I'm not saying it is Caylee. . . but".

DC, after talking with MR, calls DH and the rest is history. MR was pretty adamant that the site was important and it WAS around the corner from Caylee's home, so DC probably figured he had located Caylee's remains through MR and called JH to come to the site with him to find the body. DC would not think it appropriate to video the crime scene and he let JH know it. That is why he was 200 feet from JH. They did not locate the body in Nov., so MR got fed up and took it upon himself to go poking around.

I think all this conspiracy and "daisy chain" stuff is ridiculous. DC is a PI. He INVESTIGATED the case and followed up on 3 tips and Kio's statement to LE. He may have even talked to Kio in person, or on the phone. He may have found the tips while working for Baez, but public record never becomes privileged.

Much ado about nothing because nothing is going on to fill the media time slots.

Perhaps meter guy, just by watching the case, surmised that the A fam would not take a tip that Caylee was deceased and act on it in a way beneficial to Caylee. He wanted LE to know in the best interest of Caylee and why he kept calling them. I honestly don't believe he would risk calling the A fam hotline with such information. (I could be wrong tho!)

I agree here. Calling the A's wouldn't have been the proper course of action anyway.

The last thing I'd have done is call the A's. My suspicion would be they would go and make the body disappear. I'd go LE all the way.

That doesn't mean that a verbal agreement didn't exist between the two when new info. became available. JB probably didn't want him on any traceable payroll. MOO :cow:

I looked there, but I guess I don't know where to look. I couldn't find any for the TES search on SM...only the "other" search which was going on.

I was in BP on Sat. Nov. 7th with the TES search but I don't recognize him or recall seeing him. I did see LP filming near where he later did his "dive search".

I was on the first bus in and we were searching the East side where the bag and bones were found. About 40 people on that first bus but many more showed up later. Sorry I can't be of more help!

We had to fill out forms and sign up to search with TES - well I guess he wouldn't have filled one out though right?

I don't see that there is any evidence that he called the As with the tip...do you? I'm sure if he had, the PIs would have mentioned it instead of pretending they went there looking for beer bottles. Plus, they were only following up Caylee is Alive tips, according to them.

WTH?? The person accused of murdering Caylee is a member of that family and the rest of the family are suspected of covering for her. Both LE & the FBI were involved and gave numbers for tips. I think they are far more competent to investigate it than the As, not to mention the real possibility that one of the As may have tampered with the evidence. Why would you phone the accused murderer's family rather than police???
