How heartbreaking for this young girl. She is brave. She is strong!! May the wings of angels hold her upright as she helps put these scum behind bars where they belong, and as she begins the long road to recovery.

The parents who allegedly "gifted" their 14-year-old daughter to a Bucks County man who got her pregnant have pleaded not guilty to child endangerment.

Lawyers for Daniel and Savilla Stoltzfus, a Lancaster County couple, waived arraignment hearings that had been set for Friday after entering the pleas Wednesday.

Attorneys for Lee Kaplan, 51, the man accused of statutory rape for impregnating the teen, did the same Tuesday.

Oh my, why did I open that link? I kind of suspected it happened to the other girls, too. :( What in the world were those "parents" thinking? It wouldn't surprise me if DS was also abusing them. Everything keeps saying he impregnated her when she was 14. But that recent link says she is 18 now and her kids are 3 and 6. That means she was 12 when she had the first child. Sick. I mean, 14 is sick as well but....ugh. She had been living with him since she was only 10.

Are the parents only charged with endangering the children?!?

This entire story is inexcusable. What these parents did is of the highest magnitude of betrayal. My heart breaks for those children.

A DA has said Kaplan “groomed” the girls to believe he was a prophet from God. The oldest girl told police six sisters were considered Kaplan’s wives, and he told them he learned in dreams that the arrangement was was what God wanted, according to an affidavit.

Savilla Stoltzfus was also considered one of his wives, authorities said.

(Not nearly long enough....)

Savilla Stoltzfus, 43, pleaded guilty to one count of endangering the welfare of children, a felony of the third degree. Her 44-year-old husband, Daniel Stoltzfus, pleaded no contest to the same charge. The couple could receive sentences of up to seven years in prison and a fine of $15,000

Savilla acknowledged Thursday that it was common for Kaplan to allegedly talk to her and her young daughters about sex and “those conversations helped define a sense of purpose for the women,” according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE. “Kaplan aimed to teach the girls what it meant to be a woman.”

Savilla also alleged she “observed Kaplan taking the girls on his lap, kissing their faces and lips and taking them individually to spend alone time with him in his bed,” according to the documents. “Savilla stated that she had a feeling that her daughters were having sexual relations with Kaplan given the fact that they were spending alone time in his room with him.

This is old but I had never seen it. Seems he has at least 2 ex wives?

The Lee Kaplan who owned a house on a leafy street in Cheltenham Township 13 years ago was clean-shaven and so put off by behavior he considered immoral, he once threw a plumber out for cursing, according to his then-next door neighbors.

The couple said they didn’t like how Kaplan treated his now ex-wife, (V).
"He worked her like -- what is it -- an indentured servant," Dave Kushin said. He added, "I just chit chatted with him from time to time."
“He was a mashugana,” he said. “He rubbed me the wrong way.”

The senior class photos are ordered by birth date and grouped by zodiac sign. Above the photo of Kaplan, whose birthday is Nov. 6, reads in large, bold font:
One of Scorpio’s specialties is secrets

Most neighbors in the working-class neighborhood said they recently became suspicious of Kaplan, who allegedly told nearby residents that he lived alone. One resident said she saw Kaplan walking around holding one of the girls’ hands.
Police said that during their raid they found some girls in the basement of the house, among an elaborate miniature train setup. An EBay business, called The Brass Caboose, is registered to his house at 428 Old Street Road. The FedEx deliveryman for the neighborhood told NBC10.com on Monday that he had no idea anyone else lived in the house.
“He'd come to the door with no shirt on, that big beard,” Brandon Cragg said. “It kind of stunk in there, I thought, like cat piss. I thought he was a hoarder."

Paperwork filed in order to make an argument of insanity in Bucks County child sex abuse case
A Bucks County man accused of sexually assaulting six underage sisters from Quarryville has filed paperwork that allows for an insanity argument in his upcoming trial.

Lee Kaplan, 52, of 428 Old Street Road in Feasterville, is scheduled for trial May 30 at Bucks County Courthouse.

Kaplan's attorney Ryan Hyde filed the "notice of intent to present defense of insanity" on April 28, according to court records.
