I wonder about one thing,
but I might have missed this info as I'm new to this case,

I mean the scent caught by dogs and disturbed soil near the house.
(As was reported)

Does it mean
her body was put there temporarily and later moved somewhere else?

Because, surely, Police checked this spot, no?

I have been wondering this same exact thing. I read the entire affidavit and it mentions that the cadaver dog hit on the area of disturbed soil and the detective saw a small piece of blue tarp and burned debris. So naturally, you’d think that whole area would have been excavated, but I do not believe that it was. I’m hoping that I am mistaken, and that the details were just left out of the affidavit.

I’ve been wondering about this too. After seeing the Audi battery data in the affidavit, it seems like he could have moved Anna’s body from the home in the early morning hours of 4/4/17. If this is the case- then her body may have been somewhere in (or near) the house for almost a week if she was murdered in late March. Then a neighbor saw a blue tarp being hung outside to dry in the “first week of April”. Sounds like he may have cleaned the tarp then burned and buried it. Even if her body was never in that area of their property, the dogs still may have hit on the burned tarp if it was used to store and move her body.

Looks like the preliminary hearing was moved from last week to end of June. How do you think Gould will plea?

I suspect G will plead Not Guilty unless his attorney finds significant forensics evidence from the discovery motion, then they might try to plea to a lesser charge.

Tracker, I agree with you.

Do you think prosecutors have significant forensics evidence?

AG had a substantial amount of time to clean and otherwise get rid of evidence. They have a substantial amount ot circumstantial evidence, though.

Well,
his googling about strangling and fake text to Polish family
say it all IMO.
And not engaging in searching for his wife
Not to mention his treatment of the Polish in-laws who came to the US to look for their daughter.
And hiding their grandson from them.

Justice for Anna!

JMO based on all reports I sent here.

Oh, shocker (not). Who would've thunk it? We are reminded that the husband is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. I say he's been presumed innocent long enough -- now, let's get a guilty verdict!

I understand today was the first day of the preliminary hearing. I don't think AG is taking well to being incarcerated. Anyone attend the hearing?

Janina Maciejewska, Anna's mother, testified via Zoom about the text messages and emails that she received from Anna's accounts after she stopped communicating by phone with her family in Poland. The prosecution asserts the messages were written and sent by Gould in an attempt to make it appear Anna was alive in March of 2017.

Janina stated Anna was thinking of surprising her father for his 80th birthday in March of 2017, but then they could not get her on the phone, and she never called her father for his birthday, nor did she show up in Warsaw, Poland.

Is there an update from today's hearing? When will they decide to go to trial?
