Body found along shoreline of Neville Chemical Company identified as man missing since March

A man who was found dead in Neville Township on Thursday afternoon has been identified as Brandon Pfeifer Davis, who was last seen on Pittsburgh’s North Shore on March 24.

Officials have identified a man found dead Thursday afternoon along the Ohio River in Ohio Township as a Pittsburgh man who was reported missing in March.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office said Brandon Pfeifer Davis, 22, was pronounced dead shortly after 2:15 p.m. Thursday in the 2800 block of Neville Road on Neville Island.
A cause of death has not been released.
Pittsburgh police said Davis was reported missing after he didn’t show up for work March 27 and had not been in contact with family or friends. Police said he’d last been seen March 24 at McFadden’s on North Shore Drive and his vehicle remained at his home in Greenfield.
Allegheny County 911 said they received a call a little before 2 p.m. Thursday about a body along the Ohio River shoreline at Neville Chemical Co.
. The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating.
