Something just smells terrible about this little ones kidnapping. I dont feel like this was a stranger abduction at all...and thats excluding the perp knowing her name. Praying that the kidnappers are found soon.

yep, this case has been strange, odd, unusual and yes, smelly from the get.

All of the apparent inside knowledge the abductor had is very troubling.

Of course there is a chance that someone close to parents of little one's friends might have similar information.

school staff or close associates of school staff

family members or close associates of playmates of N or siblings

Someone associated with the daycare provider who watches the kids after school

That is kind of confusing statement, in a way. Of course there should be outrage, but at the same time they are saying it was not random, which tends to make people worry a little bit less. Even if they won't admit it.

People should be insane-someone not related to this child walked into the school, walked into a class room and snatched a child. Who then experienced unendurable horrors.

That would send me into the streets, I would be sitting in the Superintendent's office, I would be on facebook and twitter communicating my distress.

Obviously it isnt a random crime.

But still. Nobody blasted their way in and grabbed that girl. They put on a disguise and walked in.

I haven't heard anything yet about if Dad lives with her; his address could be in West Philly for all we know.

Also, in the District I work in we have most of the learning support, life skills and autistic support classrooms in my school. We bus in students from around the district to these classrooms, saves money and helps the kiddos get the support they need. Often parents want the siblings together so they come as well. So maybe she, or her brother had something similar to this going on.

I'm thinking that the search area for people who may have been involved in this crime will need to exceed a 4 block radius of the school. And will need to include every person that knew that NR attended kindergarten a few zip codes away from where her mom (reportedly) lives. (This is all depending upon the news having made a correct statement regarding the Mom's address. The news here is frequently wrong about addresses though.)
The fact that a person walked into *that* school, on a day with a substitute kindergarten teacher, and kidnapped little NR boggles my mind. How did they know she went to *that* school? She's a kindergartner, and she's only been in the school 4 months. What is the childs/families connection to that area?

The grandpop's Mosque is close by to that school. Perhaps the family wants to be close to worship, and maybe they all work there or in the vicinity?

I agree, i just think that people hear "not random" from LE and begin to believe it must be a "family issue." I kind of wish LE would not stress that part of it, at least until an arrest has made.

"The new security measures include security personnel at the door to check visitors in, a second hall monitor station, where the visitor must present ID, and sign in. The signature and ID will be thoroughly checked. Visitors will be given a hall pass and watched or escorted as they go to the main office. Should have been done before, who knows how long this will actually be enforced.

The media can be so midleading. Stating he was "released after questioning" and his phone was confiscated ... um, he could be eagerly assisting with their investigation and giving his phone happily when requested, official paperwork of no concern to him but required.

I hope there is a breakthrough ASAP. The other kids and the potential releaser may be in grave danger.
