Yes, that seems to be the case. They updated. I just noticed what they withdrew in charges

With no talk from the indicted one, guess we have another Melissa Huckabee.

I think we shouldn't assume there has to be a man involved. The fact she's been in jail for two months without saying a word speaks volumes. If there were others still free, she'd probably get a reduced sentence if she named them. Why isn't she singing like a canary unless there's no one else involved?

I know of females who resemble men so I see that as possible.

I also think it equally possible that this was done by Regusters alone and that while N was blindfolded she perpetuated a ruse that there were others coming and going (ie. the man)

Where did the description of the man come from then? Didn't they say he was wearing sweat pants and a T-shirt? Light skinned and in his 30's?

They say that the suspect and victim walked away from the school and met with a man several blocks away at a nearby home.

That man, Police Captain John Darby says, is now a suspect.

He is described as a light-skinned, possibly white male, in his late 30s, with short, brown hair. He was last seen wearing sweatpants and a long-sleeved blue T-shirt. Police also say there may have been other adults involved.

IIRC, the white or light skinned male in sweat pants was seen on video walking with Regusters and N. What if the video is deceiving and they two adults were not "meeting up" but was a simple matter of she, with N in tow, bumping into a friend, acquaintance, something like that who walked in a common direction of travel while exchanging pleasantries?

If that man on video was not part of the crime then I can say its possible that only Regusters was involved in this heinous crime.

The only other individuals that N was able to tell LE about was the heavy footed "man" who she was warned about while blindfolded and apparently did not see but only heard and uggh felt(?), and the children we assume she heard moving about the home while she was hidden beneath a bed.

No new arrest for rape on Phillyrapsheet's site that list the offense date of NR's. Again, they could be arrested on something completely different awaiting a confession or even dna from items. Only that one guy VF had the offense date of 1/15/13, the day she was found in the park. I try to check while following Travis Alexanders live court case, daily.

Only CR arrested with 4 mil bail. She's not pointing at anyone else at this time. That within itself opens many disgusting worries of a woman planning, pulling off & being the sole perp. Oh shades of Sandra Cantu and the horribly wicked Huckebee. FWIW, I think Huck was mixed up with some of the Tracey group that streamed porned to their tight group of pedos. Tracey 80? 60? It was squished asap back then & haven't followed up in a long time. Sick.

CR is going to go down hard. Kidnapping & rape aren't shabby charges including all of the other charges she has. She's going down. I'll be there to watch/read about it too.

I would think if any male that met up with CR and N while leaving the school that didn't have anything to do with the crime accept witnessing them together would have came forward especially to get that reward!!!! Times are hard and this crime is horrible what person who knows anything male or female wouldn't come forward unless you family or involved!!! I think even a friend would come forward. JMT

Girl's kidnapper acted alone, prosecutor says

After months of investigation, including use of a grand jury, Philadelphia prosecutors have concluded that the woman charged in the January abduction and sexual assault of a 5-year-old West Philadelphia girl acted alone.

"We have no evidence to suggest that she acted with anyone else, that anyone else was involved or knew what was going on," Assistant District Attorney Erin O'Brien said after Wednesday's hearing for Christina Regusters.

During the hearing, O'Brien's assessment of the case against Regusters, 20, took aback Common Pleas Court Judge Chris R. Wogan, who asked several times if Regusters might yet be charged with conspiracy or human trafficking.

O'Brien, however, told Wogan there was no evidence that the Jan. 14 kidnapping of the girl from Bryant School in West Philadelphia was part of a human trafficking ring.

O'Brien's conclusion was met with skepticism by attorneys for Regusters and the mother of the young victim.

"I am not convinced of that," said defense attorney W. Fred Harrison Jr. "I can't fathom this would be her idea at all."

Thomas R. Kline, who is representing the child's mother in a potential lawsuit, also discounted O'Brien's conclusion.

"I believe additional individuals were involved in this horrible crime and hope and trust that the District Attorney's Office and the Philadelphia Police Department will continue its investigation," Kline said.

CHRISTINA Regusters, the Philadelphia woman charged with sexually assaulting a 5-year-old girl after allegedly kidnapping her from her West Philly school in January, will be tried in August 2014.

Common Pleas Judge Chris Wogan, in responding to a question from Regusters, said yesterday that the trial was scheduled so far in the future because he and Regusters' attorney, W. Fred. Harrison Jr., had such busy schedules.

A conspiracy charge was withdrawn at the time of the indictment "because we have no evidence to suggest that she acted with anyone else," Assistant District Attorney Erin O'Brien said.

I am still open to the possibility of accomplices but I can see her pulling this off alone as well.

If she did have accomplices there is no evidence of them.
