It is shocking to me that this young, female childcare worker pulled off such a sick, twisted crime. The only decent thing I can say about her is she seemingly let her go.

But the poor child needs several surgeries, so the abuse must have been HORRIBLE. I hope we get a good jury for this trial. :jail:

This is such a bizarre crime from start to finish, even the bird added a wacko element. I am appalled she hurt her so badly when it seems she was so obsessed with her. So it seems the execution of the kidnapping isn't the result of a sophisticated operation but an obsessive fantasy and intimate knowledge.

It appears obvious that the lawyer for NR believes there's more people involved. I don't doubt a woman could pull it off if sick enough but it feels much deeper and darker. N knows.

-CR wouldn't tell if it was a big trafficking group for fear of getting a hit put out on her
-CR wouldn't tell if it was her family involved

I can't think of another reason to say you are innocent but not name names. (oh unless she is like Jodi Arias, Casey Anthony etc...)

I caught a few minutes of the news on Fox29 online. Not much but Regusters trial is this summer. Lawyers for CR & the family say others are involved. Prosecutors say they don't have any evidence suggesting anyone else is involved. NR is doing good.

They may show it later on video.

I found this article and it may have been posted in Sept of 2013 but it's been a while. Trial is Aug. 18, 2014. They are standing strong on it just being CR. She either talks or goes down all by herself. It could just be CR and no one else but it feels like some kind of tactic?

Just received a vinelink update saying CR is no longer in jail. So I went to the court docs and it shows in jail but not where but she's been moved due to her pre-trial conference tomorrow in court. I usually get an update in a day or two from vinelink saying they are back where they should be.

her lawyer should be counselling her to give up those "other people" then oughtn't he? She has never given anyone up. If she was innocent savior trying to get the kid out of the house she sure would have. Which makes me more and more convinced that she and she alone abducted and terrorized and huirt this child.

I think she herself was "the man" she warned this child not to anger.

My theory is that CR acted alone. She was changing her voice to confuse the victim. It's easy to fool a child. Cops have been really tight lipped on this case. The trial will be interesting.
