State police at Punxsutawney are seeking the public’s assistance with locating a missing/endangered person.

State police identified the person as Cody Matthew Nimerosky, who is 20 years of age. He left his residence in Smicksburg, Pa., at approximately 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Anyone with information on Nimerosky’s whereabouts is asked to immediately contact 911 or state police at 814-938-0510.

A search resumed this morning for a Smicksburg man who went missing Wednesday morning, but not before threatening to harm himself, according to state police at Punxsutawney.

Troopers said they are actively searching for Cody Nimerosky, described as a white male, age 20, suffering from depression.
