I have not been following this case/thread but just read that they are looking for him in Bovina, NY!

I am familiar with that town, have family there. It is a wonderful and beautiful hamlet.

From what I read, the sighting at the post office was 3 days after the auto was stolen, he can't be in 2 places at the same time. IIRC, the LE are giving greater weight to the PA sighting.

The guys I know that could hide like that have special military training from their years of service, one is simply a woodsman. Just to clarify that I do not hang with dangerous people.
My fiancee is one of these highly trained people and very intelligent. I consult with him a lot about this case.

In that terrain, I would bet there are springs where water is naturally rock filtered or he may have tablets to use to make water potable.
If he can hunt and fish and knows the vegetation of the area, he can eat.

Rudolph hid for 5 years in the mountains.

The difference is that EF is educated as a military tactician.
But he is one man. LE has many educated analysts and immense resources.

I hope he is taken into custody alive to face the due diligence of our justice system.

I haven't posted here yet but have followed the manhunt. I think this guy is dead somewhere and LE hasn't found the body yet or he is safely into Canada. Either way, I hope he is located soon and pays for what he has done.

I have wondered that a lot too. I keep telling myself that with the combined forces LE has, they surely must have intel we are not privy to.

I mentioned that to my sounding board this evening and told him I was starting to doubt it when LE seems so reactionary regarding this blood spot.

His answer: He does not trust the media. They might have just sent over a couple of cars to check it out and had they not, media would have been all over them on that too. Makes sense.

Another commentator pointed out that IF it were Frein, instead of being a chicken dinner he was after...eggs would be better.

And maybe LE is at a dead end; it wouldn't be the first time.

I remain completely puzzled.

Police search Buck Hill Inn after reported Eric Frein sighting

This is at least the second time the inn has been searched since police began looking for Mr. Frein 46 days ago. More than 100 members of law enforcement combed the abandoned resort on Sept. 26. State police said then that the search of the inn was unrelated to any sighting in the area.

I would very much like to know what the criteria for a credible sighting is!

I also found it notable that outlying searchers are on a volunteer basis now and that shifts have been cut to 8 hours.
