It is where 911 calls you.

In this case, to alert you to the manhunt and to shelter in place.

thank you - does it call landlines or cell phones or both? does it text at all? and does it leave messages when no answer?

he must be scoring some good food if he still has the energy to run IMO
In the newest pictures from the former coworkers door camera, he was clean, clean-shaven and wearing a new hoodie.... either an excellent thief, or got some supplies or both

Landlines and cell.
Yes, messages are left.
Text usually come, sometimes from another entity.
i’m only going by Bobcat fire evacuation and recent hurricane emergency response experience.

ReadyChesco (emergency alert system) is opt-in; I don't remember all the options from when I signed up but I definitely got both a text and an email on Sunday (I'm in Phxville). I also got a call on the landline at the same time, which I think was the reverse 911. So both, but via two different systems.

I think we can set aside the notion that he is not dangerous.

Fingers crossed for peaceful resolution with no injuries to LE or citizens.

fox 29 just confirmed that they heard about the rifle with scope on the scanner

I would be moving out until he was caught.
MHO: Not me, unless I was put under an evacuation order. That would make my house a target for him to break in.

Someone has GOT to know where this guy is. If there is, they might be supplying him.

However, I know that a lot of churches and even private citizens have their own variation of Little Free Pantries, with all kinds of things out there in a protected container for people who may need them.

If he tried or did break into a house, he's desperate. I hope he isn't going to try to take a hostage.
In this case, owner shot back right?
What about next time...?

This is following your train of thought about people paying attention to the news stories but I wonder how much people in Amish country know about this fugitive.
Believe me, they are just as capable of getting local news as "we" are.

I imagine he's fully aware of the helicopter overhead but does he have any idea how surrounded he is?

There are police cars with lights on on the perimeter.

He has to see them.

Just my thoughts.

It's 4am and I'm off to speak freely. For another night I'm hoping he's caught. Good luck and keep safe

He already did that within hours of his escape.

If police do confront him, and Calvacante has a firearm....he will be killed in a shoot out.
Just hope no officers are hurt.

CO - FOX 29
IMO, live shot showed multiple dark FBI Suburbans in quick transit

JMO

ETA - FOX 29 is now on Ridge Road.

If I were Chris O'Donnell, I think I'd be hightailing out of perimeter zone....
