I personally listened to the scanner that mentions "subject" is armed with a .22 rifle and a scope. The person is described as "TheSubject". In addition #Danelo's green sweatshirt was recovered. No blood stains on the sweatshirt. In addition heard from scanner that his shoes were found. Futher reporting that there may have been civilian shots fired. Massive response of police vehicles not using sirens. Please shelter in place. Radio silence now in place. LE likely using car to car/handheld comms on scrambled channel or cell comms. <modsnip: Not an approved source>

CO -FOX29

IMO, CO looks terrified right now.

ETA - CO is parked at the intersection of Coventryville Rd. and Ridge (Rte 23), second in line at the road block. Good shots of intersection

sign on that closed off road says "Bridge ahead".
Good place to hide up in the understructure. The dude can climb.

We have confirmed a Homeowner on Coventryville Rd. Shot at someone who matches Cavalcante’s description and the subject fled. Police don’t know if he was hit. But he now has a 22 rifle. Everyone in the area should shelter in place.

This section of Chester county’s website showing active incident dispatches seems to confirm reports of a reported shooting (on Coventryville + Ridge Rd). Could be unrelated. Also it’s just a report for EMS citing shots so whether or not shots were actually fired is still unconfirmed.

Hopefully that link is allowed as its part of Chester County’s official website.

IMO he made a poor choice of weaponry.

He is better off unarmed if he wants to stay alive. But, he may not want to live.

Just my thoughts.

How do they know exactly what kind of weapon he has? That’s so specific. Did the homeowner see it?

I've said 'this is crazy' and 'this is nuts' so many times over the past several days ...

It could be the one the homeowner used? Maybe there was a tussle? Or a backup weapon was grabbed?

I hope he doesn't take anyone out with him if that's the case.

Maybe someone collected a bullet or a shell?

Local news (NBC10) just showing the weather report as if nothing else is going on.

JMO I really hope the person shot was Cavalcante and not an unrelated person.
