This is always a difficult day for some of us, the ones who were here from the beginning and have lost our own loved ones. The puppy in my signature photo is now 11 YEARS old and I posted it when the photo had just been snapped.
In 21 years, some of us have lost our parents, struggled mightily with illness and issues, but we have never stopped hoping for the best for a man who still seems to me to be or have been a very fine man worthy of at least a memorial in Centre County or Bellefonte for the work he did for all the people of Centre County who needed a prosecutorial advocate for his many years there.

Mr. Gricar, I hope you are still alive, truly a senior adult now. :) And if you are long gone through foul play, I hope you believed in eternal life and the end to this life was quick. God bless and keep you, wherever you are in body or on another plain.
Just to say, I am very ill, and this may be my last possible post on the case. IDK how to put " more heart" into a disappearance with so few facts, but I will always remember so so many of my fellow posters down through the years, and our fears, our tears, our hopes, and especially thanks to those gentlemen here who did the forensic financial investigation and possibly added one more piece to a likely complex puzzle.

21 years on, and I truly believe this case deserves to be solved because a servant of the public in the judiciary disappeared while in office and 5 months from his stated retirement date. Good to be back, if for another sad anniversary, but in a safe place to put my feelings and prayers for Mr. Gricar into words at least one more time. Thank you, WS!

@J. J. in Phila...do you know the last time someone in LE put some fresh eyes on this case (if any) by re interviewing witnesses or even getting Ray's disappearance back out there in the spotlight to possibly generate new leads?

2009 the then DA, Parks Miller did establish a group to look at the case again. It did re-interview people.

LE has looked at new leads when they came in.

We contacted public/political administration to ask about a memorial, as you suggest. Both Centre County and Bellefonte both !
Will keep you posted. Something beautiful, respectful and loving of his job for justice. He came too far, not to cross the finish line -

R.I.P 💖💟😢

When RFG was declared dead, the family, through TG, said, "“We view this as an administrative declaration," and "We don't look at it and say, 'We have to have a funeral,' or, 'We have this kind of closure.'" That was 15 years ago, but at least at that point, the family was not looking for anything like this.
