Family: Missing Salisbury rideshare driver’s cellphone detected in Center City Allentown

More at link
The family of a Salisbury woman who went missing while working her part-time rideshare gig Thursday night is hoping cellphone and company records will bring them some answers soon.

Eleanor Camacho, 58, was last seen around 5 p.m. leaving the parking lot of her apartment in the 1100 block of South Cedar Crest Boulevard. Her son, Daniel Camacho, said Sunday that her cellphone was last detected two hours later, when it pinged off a tower in the 700 block of Hamilton Street in Allentown.

Above link states that the family is still waiting for information and cooperation from Uber/Lyft. Geez, it's been 3 days, surely police could issue a warrant for that information? It would be easy to find, surely Uber/Lyft keeps electronic records on all the clients their drivers pick up.
Also, her cell phone was in an area 2 hours later that only takes 9 minutes to drive to. I'm sure her family has looked/is looking for her car in that area. I worry that she's in somebody's residence in that block.

oh, I hope they are working hard behind the scenes on this.

of note: Hamilton St. downtown is one way, 700 block is literally the center of the city. This is considered the "fancy, redeveloped" area of downtown, but rough areas are very close.

any traffic at all and you're looking at more like 15-20 min from her place to hamilton/center city.

if Salisburg twp is investigating, does it mean downtown has no evidence (yet) of her making it to hamilton? I think it would be allentown police if she was last seen downtown.

Rough area is imo *maybe* two blocks away. (I stayed in an area hotel a few years ago) I was comfortable out at night around the hotel and along the busy street but wouldn’t have gone far off of Hamilton.

There are visible cameras on the traffic lights at 700 Hamiliton Street. It is also where a sports arena is and apartment buildings. Both of these most likely have cameras.

Yikes!! I hope if this wasn't self inflicted there's a swift arrest.

You and me, both. As her death is being treated as suspicious and no more info. has released from the DA/assistant DA, I am hoping that their investigation is gaining leads. Such a scary and sad update. As mentioned above, the area has many cameras/CCTV, so, I'm really hoping something/someone was captured.

Missing Rideshare Driver Eleanor Camacho Found Dead Inside Her Car In Allentown

May heart goes out to the family, in particularly, to the daughter expecting who would be Eleanor's first grandchild. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Wow, so sad to hear that she has been found deceased. I wonder what happened? And they just noticed the car now?

Philly native, rideshare driver found dead in Allentown

She was located near the intersection of W. Turner and N., Lumber Streets, which is less than a mile from where her cell phone last "pinged." If I am recalling all of the news reports (the ones linked by me and others) correctly, that last "ping" was about 7 p.m. on Thursday December 3rd. But she and her car were not located until Sunday afternoon--I'm wondering what accounts for the time between the family reporting her missing and Allentown P.D. locating her vehicle with her body inside. The family seems to have realized something was amiss pretty immediately (when Eleanor did not return after picking up/dropping off her scheduled fare), but perhaps the APD requires a certain period of time to elapse before an adult is officially considered "missing"?

Excellent question. Does it confirm that LE found her? Maybe the family went out looking.
