On CC tonite, Genovese said that RR was hospitalized with panic attacks after the murder. Really?
Is this going to be the excuse for Mr. Robb's flat affect, he's heavily medicated, I wonder ?

Hardly...........that is how he is..........I've spoken with him.........that's how he is...................

What is CC? Obviously you can tell I'm new at this...

[/QUOTE]Another interesting wrinkle here is that Pennsylvania has recently adopted a rule that says that if a couple is in the process of a divorce, and one of them dies, the divorce proceeds forward despite the death. In other words, the survivor has to go through the whole equitable distribution thing. They don't get to stop the divorce and keep all the goodies. The heirs of the deceased spouse get the equitable distribution money.

I think the law only applies if one of the parties paperwork has actually been filed with the court. Not sure if lack of service on the other party would make a difference.

Doesn't matter....the most important thing is that a life has been taken... the killer was an idiot despite how bright he has been made out to be (i wonder if his family in Israel knows........doubtful)

Sorry, Hedidit. Those of us at this for a long time tend to use initials of commonly known things.
CC= Catherine Crier (CTV--Court TV--- show M-F 5 pm Eastern)
GVS= Greta Van Susteren (On The Record Fox show 10 pm Eastern M-F)
NG can mean Nancy Grace (CTV anchor and has show M-F on CNN headline news 8 pm, 10 pm and repeated in the early hours)

These are the shows which frequently cover crime stories of interest to us.

ETA: NG can also mean "not guilty" just as G can mean "guilty"
IUPG= innocent until proven guilty
LWOPP+ life without possibility of parole

Just take care, hedidit. I've appreciated your posts here myself. They've confirmed what I'd think Dr. Robb might really be like every step of the way.

You need to know that I may have made your screen name here locally famous tonight (local for you). Susanne LaFrankie had me guest for a 10 minute segment on her 6-8 p.m. show, and there was no way to avoid mentioning your provocative posts and this message board. However, I am concerned for you, so just be careful with what you say, as you have been. I think it's good you come here and discuss this case to some extent, and hope you will continue to do so, as you are able.

The entries I wrote in my CrimeBlog that got Susanne's interest can be found here:

Just click search and enter Robb in the search form.

Hi Hedidit, If your nervous, then don't say anything Sweetie, as we will understand. We have dealt with this here before, in fact on Michelle's thread we have a poster involved in a certain study for that case. She point blank told us what she couldn't talk about and we have respected that.

I must say it is really great to have both you and Luthersmama here on this case with us. The benefit of having someone who knows the local mood, chit chat, idiosyncracies {sp  } about the DA or lawyers working on the case - it is all valuable info in sleuthing a case.

Another thing I find valuable in getting my bearings in a case is trying to picture the setting, the suspects, etc, as it adds depth to everything you learn. There is a lot you can add besides the heavy details which you might have been told to steer clear of. Like I saw Mr Robb out walking his dog, and he appeared to be kind of sloughing along, kind of mundane looking. LOL Not walking with vigor. Tells a lot about him as a personality.

Don't miss seeing him in his Saturday-morning-clean-out-the-garage clothes, carrying a beverage in one hand and the handle of the casket in the other.

Anybody know if he played golf? They said a crow bar or fireplace poker possibly as a weapon, thin shaft unlike the original pipe they first said. Not thinking of a golf club necessarily just the swing and force behind the blows.

ETA: Maybe they should have him checked for a hernia or the panic attack was respiratory related.

Luthersmama, how do you know that about the uncle? I haven't heard that. My greatest concern now is Olivia's safety.

Just making an assumption. I have been involved in a similar case and the DA was in close contact with the relatives the whole time to make sure there was a plan for the kids. Sounds like the uncles are smart fellows and will keep on top of the DA.

I am also concerned about Olivia. I hope she isn't being isolated from her friends, etc.

I read everything in the probable cause and didn't see any mention of a warrant to secure his vehicle. LM did you see anything where they confiscated it? I know they checked the area for clothes and the weapon and didn't find anything. The MY case made me think of it really because LE grabbed the SUV her husband was driving right away. Seems like with such a bloody crime scene he would've gotten rid of the stuff somehow and may not have been so careful.

I read that it had been looked at, but nothing about confiscation. The searches of the cars, home and office had all been done on his consent rather than a warrant.

Thanks that's what I thought. There is info in the probable cause where they found what they believed to be blood drippings that led from the family room into the garage. They state they would expect a burgular to exit the same way they came in so imo the weapon and bloody clothes could've been secured in bags or whatever in the garage where the blood led to and then transported in the cars trunk to be disposed of. Does that make sense? Any areas he was seen in that morning like the wawa I know they checked the cameras but also along his route he could've disposed of evidence in a dumpster or something.

lisafremont, thanks for that link to the probable cause press release--excellent info--the ol' broken window staged burglary trick--too bad he forgot to walk on the glass---and didn't he refuse a lie-detector test also? doesn't look good for the professor
