Police said Gonzales was kicked out of the school last year for threatening to shoot a teacher with a gun he was allegedly carrying. They said none of the men had a reason to be on school property.
“Nobody is allowed to bring a knife firearm or a weapon like a baseball bat to on school property to use it in a commission of a crime," said Binker.
Osorio Paredes, who is the owner of the loaded firearm that was located in the vehicle, is facing a third charge for allegedly lying in the paperwork used to obtain the gun.
“It was a nine-millimeter and it was loaded, and we found an extended magazine also in the car," said Binker.

Superintendent Brian Costello stressed no threats were made to any of the district students or staff on Wednesday, and that the individuals were approached by the school resource officer because they were recognized as not being district students.
But investigators said Gonzalez, Ariansy Orosio-Parades and Daniel Salazar-Parra admitted under questioning that they are members of the Trinitarios street gang, and were seen “throwing” gang hand signs to possible “Crip” street gang members in the school parking lot.

The men tried to leave school property after they were approached by the high school’s resource officer.
They were then stopped by police just outside of the school parking lot, where Chief Dale Binker of the Plains Township police says officers proceeded to search the car.
“At that point, we located a handgun, numerous magazines, numerous knives, a baseball bat, and masks in the car,” Chief Brinker said to WNEP.

“We are not gonna tolerate people bringing weapons onto school properties, and neither is the Luzerne County district attorney’s office,” Brinker said to WNEP.
