I know you were probably already ready going to do this, but I just wanted to mention it. There's no published rule out list, so when compiling your list, will you please peruse the previous pages to see who has already been submitted? Quite a few have. This will save a ton of time in the end and prevent repeats.

Wish we could get more people interested in helping out with identification. My to-do list is two pages long and growing...and there's so much more that needs to be done.

The only one I can think of right now is Pamela Hobley because of her typical nose, there is problem with the haircolor and she she went missing with another girl.

Missing from Oscoda,Iosco Co, Michigan, UID found Jonestown, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, not fitting in isotopes.
Missing 5'6 to 5'8,100 -115 lbs, with her length she was not heavy build. UID 67 = 5’7”, Estimated and thin build.
Missing brown hair,brown eyes (according to her mother she had shiny black hair en black eyes),UID light brown hair, reddish long, eye color unknown
Both a typical nose
Missing Scar on theleft side of her mouth and a scar across the bridge of her nose. UID notstated, body Not recognizable - Decomposing/putrefaction

Yeah, there really didn't seem to be anyone with such a dramatic nose bend like that. If it was a runaway it could have been a result of an injury that happened after they were last contacted.

Might be a stretch, but does anyone know if Sheryl Tillinghast has been compared Sheryl Ann Tillinghast – The Charley Project This Jane Doe was brought up as a possibility on her own thread. She is 3 inches below the low end of the height range, but due to the 25-year delay in her being reported missing it's hard to tell the accuracy of the information given; particularly that by September 1973 she had been living away from the family home for about eight months. She was never brought to a dentist while she lived at home, but it is possible that she went to one after leaving; particularly if she had issues with her teeth that needed attention. This could account for the discrepancy between the Jane Doe having extensive dental work and Sheryl presumably having none. She was allegedly involved in an abusive relationship at the time of her disappearance and the April before she went missing her boyfriend was arrested for assaulting her. Details from an article published in Sheryl's hometown that I find to be of particular note: "After he was apprehended hours later by law enforcement, he was arraigned in court, but a relative promptly posted his bail. In October 1973, a court appearance regarding the alleged assault was set up, but by then Tillinghast was already gone. The case fizzled out." (Bold is mine, article:<modsnip: broken link>). There would definitely be motive on his part to make Sheryl disappear before the case went court. I wonder if the boyfriend had any ties to Pennsylvania.

I have a hard time here with this UID...especially when you consider the isotopes.... (but who said it would be easy?) Don't want to be mixing everything up, but when searching I came across another young UID from august 1973 http://www.missingkids.com/poster/NCMU/1184260/1/screen found in Florida and then, seeing the missing girls brought up here...could be compared to her too...

Glad you are thinking about this. I don't know, she has an obvious gap between her front teeth. Wouldn't they have mentioned that with our UID? And she is from NY, so that would not fit in the isotopes.

According to the now-retired PSP Corporal who had Jane Doe's case in 2006, Sheryl was ruled out in 2005 via fingerprint comparison. I still have his email regarding this possible match.

Thank you CCJD for letting all of us know. As you probably know by following the thread this Jane Doe's NamUs rule out list is not made public so any confirmed eliminations are very much appreciated here. As far as I can tell, that makes two: Sandra Hopler 1955 Pennsylvania, and Sheryl Tillinghast 1956 New York.

So this might be a long shot, but I wanted to throw it out there none the less.
Diane Lee Todd: The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)
She went missing in April '73, so there's quite a few months between her disappearance and the discovery of Jane Doe's body. She was also only 5'3. She went missing from Fairfax County VA, which is right on the top of the isotope map.
I've only managed to find one picture of her, and she doesn't look like the sketch, but there is more resemblance with the 3D facial reconstruction (especially in black and white).
She also looks quite young to be 18, and since they have the age rage from 12-20 I figure that might fit.
What do you think? Worth a shot?

So I've been doing some digging, and I think we can rule out Gail Joner. She moved to Florida from Michigan with her family just a few months before her disappearance. That means she grew up outside the isotope map and she's probably not "our" Jane Doe.
