PA - Four Men Beat WAWA Worker

  • #21
What exactly is 'WAWA'? Is it a store chain? We're not all in PA and I'd like some clarity, thanks.

My apologies, Snick. I should have mentioned that. They're a staple here. I have four of them in walking distance to my house. The nice thing is you get to know the employees as you used to in corner stores, and very often the employees are from the neighborhood and you knew them anyway.

My DD had a beau who lived in Virginia. He got addicted to Wawa Iced Tea and coffee while he was here. I think the kid about wet his drawers when they put one within a mile of his house. He was right outside Virginia Beach.

I feel horrible putting this in a thread about such violence, but what I want to know is where do they get the rolls for the hoagies down in Virginia? I looked for rolls down there in Food Lion I think it was and they handed me snowflake rolls.:scared::scared::scared:Supposedly it's our water that makes our rolls so good.

Gonna ask some of the kids I know who work in Wawa how this woman is doing and find out about a donation. Of all things your teeth? That work will take forever, and it's painful and of course expensive.

BBM - ya'll come on up by me - it don't smell good, but we're still circling the bowl, not in the cesspit just yet.

Thank you! Only if you take me up to that Q-Mart. :floorlaugh:

The area is getting worse everyday. Port Richmond stuff is starting to expand back into Mayfair and the crime is getting worse.

That road makes it easy to attack some one and get away.

The other side of the Boulevard (Castor Side) that's off the charts as well. Lawncrest has really gotten bad. Somerton ain't looking any better. Wissinoming ain't too nice and Mayfair? :banghead::banghead::banghead:

You're right about that bus stop and road. Whatever happened to that Marlboro man store with the furniture in it? The one with the huge sign used to have the Marlboro guy on it. Unless I have to go to Stock's I'm not there. We take the route to the game as well though to avoid 95.

Easiest getaway road? That da*n Boulevard. Bad enough up off Cottman, but down by Harbison? You can rob anybody and anything and have three ways out.

Sorry for the vent.

Nobody makes bread like they do in the Philadelphia area. You can't even get a decent cheese steak anywhere else but Philly. I was born in Philly and lived for a year on Randolph Street, North Philadelphia in the late 50's but my mother hated it so we moved back to Bucks County the following year. Wawa may send the rolls down to Virginia frozen and all they have to do is bake them so they are fresh. It is the water that makes the difference. Philly has the best bread in the world.
