I wonder what they mean when they say "sack"? The first thing I think of is a burlap potato sack. Any locals have insight on what else it could be? Would sack be used to describe a plastic bag or a duffel bag?
Police say a skull and a partially decomposed body were located in a sack that was placed just below the soil.

Philadelphia Police: Groundskeeper Finds Human Skull, Bones Inside Partially Buried Sack At Arboretum
Sorry new at posting links, the police say partially decomposed in the most recent articles for our local stations. You guys are amazing at finding and bringing attention to all these missing that are forgotten! Hopefully someone finds closure from this soon.
I'm from the Philly suburbs. A sack to me would mean a burlap sack, or another kind of fabric/material that has a string to tie it off. It could be plastic, sort of like this. I've never heard of anyone use sack to refer to any other type of bag, as far as I can recall.

Two years coming up since these remains were found, and they're still not in NamUs; there doesn't seem to be an update on them at all.
The link has been updated and the remains has been identified as Rashid Young:![]()
