I don't think it is fair to criticize the two neighbors when we don't know all the facts. We don't know how often the kids were there, what the neighbors heard, what other avenues the police were pursuing etc. I have the impression that this was a complex scheme of porn production and multiple locations might have been involved. Kids might have been brought there from time to time from the place where the "child care" home was run. Getting a search warrant isn't all that simple and the prosecutors might have had good reasons to proceed as reported.

We don't know what the circumstances were of those two neighbors who appear , IMHO, to have been doing what the prosecution asked of them. It is too soon and facts are too few to point the finger at them. Could be a whole lot more to this and those two folks did just what was required. Let's cut them some slack for a bit.

I was under the impression that he was arrested for another assault on a child and when they investigated him for that is when they found the stuff on the computer. I could be wrong but I thought I had seen that on our local news or read it somewhere.

He was arrested in June on about 500 counts of rape and sexual assault and has been in jail ever since. The federal counts of child porn were the result of further investigation. I believe the neighbors' help led to the initial arrest.

Even one image of child porn is horrible, but a million pics is mind boggling. There must be big money in this evil trade and more pedophiles looking at child porn than anyone even realizes. It's too bad that this went on for so long.

This is what went through my head. it's a given these people are depraved - actually, words fail me as to what exactly they are, but . . .

the money involved in child porn must be phenomenal. it's not being paid out by just a handful of people.

how many people are paying to have these images? how many?

how many in your neighbourhood?

that thought is equally scary as the people who performed and filmed these acts, to me.

Yet one more reason why I would NEVER have ANYONE watch my kids at their house, unless it's my family or my very best friend. And if I ever had to hire someone else other than them, (God forbid) after a serious background check, I would make sure that it would be at my house all the time, and that there were hidden cameras strategically placed throughout my house. After reading the paper today I think the neighbors did what they could. I think the police could have done a bit more but they probably had no idea what they were dealing with.

I'm still confused about the investigation. There are several docket sheets and each is about 50 pages long, with hundreds of counts. He was arrested in Feb of 2006, not June as I thought. Some of the sheets relate back to incidents in 2004. He wasn't arraigned until August. Trial has been scheduled and re-scheduled. Bail has been set and increased, but he hasn't made bail, which isn't surprising since it is at least $1 million at this point. Not sure whether to add up the bail for all of the sheets to get the real total.

I don't know what to make of this - perhaps he has been ratting out other porn producers or something. I think we will hear much more about this now that the news media is on to it.

In one of the links I believe it mentioned that the neighborhood was not in a particularly good part of town. I was suprised at first, considering the sheer volume of photos found, that these people didn't seem to have much money.

To me that means that what was primary in their sick business was their pleasure, not the cash it could bring in. Life in prison just doesn't seem enough for these subhuman freaks.

I work as a Sexual Assault Crisis Counselor. I attempt to help children and adults pick up the pieces that monsters like these make of their lives. Often I think I have heard every horror story that exists. Satanic cults raping children, stranger rapes, fathers and brothers sexually abusing their children sisters, brothers, mothers sexually abusing their daughters, their sons, and it goes on and on. And I think that at some point I can read news stories about child molestation and rape and it just isn't going to get to me anymore.

This is one of those news stories that lets me know that it hasn't happened yet. These are more monsters disguised as human beings, and as I said in the beginning, life in prison is just far too good for them.

Oh man, this woman's attorney went on about how she is a victim. Ya know what? Why? Because she only completed the 10th grade and is disabled? She was supposedly healthy enough to babysit children. I don't care if she only completed the 8th grade. You don't need to have an education to know that you are harming children.

She's getting sentenced in December. This wench has been on house arrest since January of 2007. Big freakin whoop. She knew that freak was hurting them kids and she handed them over and then left the house. I hope they all rot. All three of them.

Winteryns, when I first read about this last year I got physically ill. The fact that two women helped that pervert is what made me puke I think. I mean he's evil and twisted. Those poor kids didn't stand a chance. Society has those two b*tches to thank for that.

The neighbors heard those children screaming so often they kept a log of it. So what them two wenches couldn't go for help? I hope Concetta Jackson gets her sick azz kicked when she gets locked up by every single inmate who ever was harmed or had their own children harmed by a child molester. I know it sounds callous, but in my eyes Jackson is worse than Worman.

Hand kids over to man you know is going to torture them?:banghead: Lock her up and put her in general population. There will be many women there who only went up to 10th grade in school, but would never, ever harm a kid.
