This is the correct name and age but could not find a mug shot. Lawrence County court records show numerous burglary charges and the arrests were on MSM. Couple charged in Hickory burglary and Summary of recent criminal activity in Poland and Boardman (scroll down to "theft/drugs")

I am positive this is the missing Katie as the man she was arrested with is the man she states she is in a relationship with on Facebook (name not give here as he's not a POI).

Katie's Facebook Katie Stoner-Prestopine (yes, that's her though different last name, the picture is the same as on the thread and arrest records under that last name have the same birthday as the arrest records under "Stoner"). It may be that she met with harm due to the criminal nature of those she conducted activities with or she is hiding with possible charges pending. I hope she is safe, either way.

Burn marks on her wrists? From what? How does one get burn marks on both wrists? Seems unlikely that it would be from an accident. I sense recent relationship problems based on her FB posts.

KITTANNING (KDKA) — Kittanning Police are searching for a person of interest in connection to a missing person case.

They are now searching for 30-year-old John Eugene Colbert, of New Castle, in connection to Stoner’s disappearance.

According to police, Colbert is Stoner’s ex-boyfriend and is wanted by other law enforcement agencies.

I was hoping that she had taken off. It is possible that she has but with the story now where they are looking for her ex it isn't looking good.

For her one court case she her case was put through ARD. This is a program for first offenders and the way it works is that you do not plead to any charges, you waive preliminary hearings, and right to a speedy trial and if you complete the conditions then it is as if you had never been charged with any crime(s) - no conviction.

I don't know how she got into ARD with the 7 charges against her - two 1st degree felony charges. three 2nd degree felony charges, a 1st degree misdemeanor, and a 3rd degree misdemeanor.

1st degree felonies in PA are 10 to 20 years in prison, 2nd degree felonies are 5 to 10 years, a 1st degree misdemeanor is 2.5 to 5 years and a 3rd degree misdemeanor is 6 to 12 months.

Her ARD was revoked September 28th, 2018. She is facing quite a long time in jail if convicted - 10 to 76 years.

10:17 p.m. - 1300 block of Doral Dr., John Colbert, 30, of Wampum, Pa., arrested and charged with theft, drug abuse, possessing drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia. Katie Stoner, 27, of New Castle, Pa., arrested and charged with theft and possession of criminal tools. Police said Colbert and Stoner tried to steal Mountain Dew and a hoverboard from Walmart. Police said Colbert, who was found to have a warrant for his arrest, had a burnt spoon, needle and suspected heroin in his pockets.

I’m originally from the area & I can tell you there are a lot of cases of domestic violence (most unreported) & drug related issues here. We got our family out several years ago & haven’t looked back.

Praying for this young lady to be found safe & for this POI to be arrested.

In 2011, John Colbert kidnapped a girl for a drug deal gone bad.
He put her our in rural country in freezing weather, after making her throw her jacket and shoes out of the car.
That time, he threatened to beat and kill her, but she lived.

I'm very afraid now. If he put Katie out of the car in rural country, she may have made it to safety by now.

Her family told KDKA that Stoner was seeking treatment for mental illness and an addiction to opioids at a women’s shelter, so she wouldn’t have just disappeared without a trace.

“All her things were there, all the pictures, everything was there and she had important meetings to go to that next day that she was excited about,” Linda Prestopine, Katie’s mom, told the outlet.

Prestopine also said Stoner wanted to get better in order to raise her little girls.​
