Katlyn's sister is a hero. It really helps when a family is in constant contact & it's very odd when someone doesn't return calls/texts. It gives the perp very little time to cover up the crime when family is suspicious and call the police immediately. It's great the family was able to go on the property so quickly bc I bet the police had to get probable cause to get a search warrant and serve it to the new owner. Who knows if they could have gotten probable cause... Her family wasn't messing around & saved everyone so much time & wondering.

Yes! They were on it immediately! Her twin sister instinctively knew something was wrong and was posting live updates on her Facebook page. We couldn’t bring that here or even mention due to TOS. I agree she and others in the family are heroes!!

During the hearing, prosecutors called several state troopers to the stand. They testified that about a week after his arrest, Vincent Harp called them from jail and asked to talk.

According to the troopers, Vincent Harp said he and Katlyn had been huffing nitrous oxide the night before she went missing. He said Katlyn put a plastic bag over her face to enhance the effects. Harp said he passed out and later woke up to find Katlyn dead in their bed next to him. Harp told the troopers he didn't call for help and panicked.

Harp told them that he had taken Katlyn's phone and smartwatch and thrown them into Fishing Creek near the Bloomsburg fairgrounds. He said he then went back to their home near Bloomsburg and got the metal box from the yard, and put Katlyn's body in it. The troopers say that Harp told them he drove to Danville, then to Snyder County, before he ultimately decided to take the metal box to the property he used to own near Bloomsburg. Harp said Katlyn had told him she wanted to be buried there.

As Harp walked out of the courthouse after the hearing, he had this to say: "The drugs killed her."

All the charges against Vincent Harp were sent on to trial. Vincent Harp remains behind bars on Monday night, without bail.

Pretty unlucky guy, two wives died from drug overdoses? I guess the autopsy along with the tox reaults will either prove/disprove his story? Would NO show up, or did he choose something he knows can’t be proven?

I hope authorities are giving his prior wife's death by overdose a much closer look in light of Mr. Harp's seriously bad luck in love.
