MISSING PERSON:

Pictured below is Kim Mead, 51, of Kittanning. Mead was last seen traveling on foot southbound on the 1400 block of Orr Ave at approximately 6:39am. Mead was wearing a zip-up gray hoodie and possibly black yoga pants.

We’re asking anyone that has any further information of Mead’s whereabouts to contact Kittanning Police at 724-543-1538 or contact 911.

Kittanning Police are asking all residents that have Ring cameras or porch cameras to check between the hours of 6:40am-Present time in order to help track Mead.

I wish we knew more of the backstory. Was she out jogging at 6:30am or running from someone?

Looking at the photo I don't see the stance of someone jogging, but walking hurriedly, and looking over her shoulder. I found her Facebook page, she seems to be happy, creative, and loved. No persons or things that were worrisome on there. Log in or sign up to view

It looks like she's running from something/someone in the 2nd photo. I hope the police plan to keep investigating this. I would also be interested in hearing why she was out in the middle of the street at 6:30am.
