Deceased/Not Found PA - King Hill, 2, stepfather said King was with babysitter, Philadelphia, 7 Jul 2020 *arrest*

Monday, July 20th:
*Arraignment Hearing (@ am ET) - PA – King Hill (2) (missing July 7, 2020, reported missing July 8, 2020 by stepfather, Philadelphia; not found, police say he is deceased) - *Tianna Parks (24) arrested (7/19/20) & charged (7/20/20) with murder, endangering the welfare of a child, interference with custody of children, abuse of corpse, unsworn falsification to authorities, false reports to LE, obstruction of justice & tampering with evidence.
King Hill was last seen at 9:50 a.m. on July 7 at 31st and Page streets in Strawberry Mansion. The toddler's grandmother, Kimberly Hill, tells Action News that King's stepfather had the boy since the end of May. The stepfather was to drop King off at the mom's house in two weeks for the toddler's 3rd birthday (7/29/20). Instead, the mom received a text from the stepfather that set off the search for her son. The stepfather said a babysitter had dropped off King. "She gets a text saying, 'Did you get the baby? She dropped him off at 33rd and Diamond.' That's the first time we heard of this babysitter. I don't know who this woman is," Kimberly Hill said. "Somebody's not telling us the truth because the babysitter is saying she returned the child to the mother, Amber Hill. The mother's saying that she did not," said Captain Mark Burgmann. The babysitter has been providing child are for the past 2 years. Stepfather is father to Amber Hill's older daughter (7 years old). On Sunday, 7/19/20 LE confirmed to the mother that King was killed. Police are not yet releasing any details on the developments, but King’s mother says detectives confirmed Sunday that her son was killed and that they believe they know who is responsible. The investigation yielded cell phone & video evidence that led to the conclusion that King is dead. Arraignment on 7/20/20.

I've often wondered when the body hasn't been found - how does the "abuse of a corpse" charge be filed? They must have some evidence of this right?

I wonder if the video evidence is of the actual death or disposal, they seem to like posting live videos. I wish her the maximum sentence possible.

So have they checked the dumpsters? I'm not seeing where they even have said when he was last seen alive and the "stepdads" explanation of this woman charged? I need to catch up

Sadly and I detest even thinking about any of this, but here in Philly there's a "sort of" trash strike.

Dumpsters would be private contractors I guess, but trash/garbage is behind up my way by four days, and the chichi hood I am presently in by at least three days.

Edit to say this has been going on for a few weeks now. The trash workers are on overload with people being at home plus their coworkers getting covid equals many on a crew needing to quarantine.

Again, Bless this boy. Sincere sorrow for King's family. If it means anything at all I do "get" the relationship of "stepdad" as he is the biological dad of baby boy's older sister.

Bless this child. Little doll. Haven't watched the news in days and am saddened to hear this.

ugh - is this another warrant I should not want to look at? once seen, it can't be unseen and I've learned that lesson here on WS - I think I will just wait considering the abuse of a corpse - I hope she didn't do what I think this means.....

Amber alert was not issued because they did not have evidence King was abducted. But PSP issued an endangered missing persons alert.

ay the last confirmed sighting of King Hill was July 5th. He was reported missing by his stepfather on July 8th. Since then, police say there was physical evidence refuting everything Parks told them.

Ps: I’m sorry but what kind of stupid people are we raising here? Babysitter’s clear thought process: ‘I know! I will lie and say I transferred this child back to his mother and after that, who knows what might have happened to him!’

remember when we used to let 14 year olds babysit??? Now I don’t trust anybody under 24.

Pretty stupid IMO. Logically, the onus was on the babysitter TP to prove she returned King rather than on the mother as it was TP asserting the claim. I guess she was so busy taking selfies that it didn't occur to her that LE might find local surveillance video or catch her in lies.

IMO murderers, whether premeditated or not, focus on the murder but give little thought to what to do after. Thank goodness for their stupidity.

Knowing I am one of the most judgmental people on planet earth when it comes to raising children and having been a way "I am still told" over the top helicopter mom I can only speak of what I know. I don't know these people. Any of these people. This little guy simply adorable I would have loved to see having had a summer full of fun and safety.

That said there's people in situations I know I can't imagine. I see it every single day on my won block and I am not exaggerating. Who belongs to who? What grandmom has who? What mom reappeared? What woman is raising her exgirlfriend's child? Then has that child babysat with her ex wife's nephews?

You can't make this up.

Can we blame poverty? Poor judgement. Relationship "oddness"?

End game there's a MURDERED beautiful baby out there somewhere.

As for stupidity? "Smart is smart". I'm no genius. By the looks and that's only a FB page and some poetry I guess it is called or spoken word, but this murderer didn't have a great roster I am betting. No da*n excuse to hurt a little baby. Still it'll all come out in the wash.

There's a Blues song called "Circumstances". Little King was put in some circumstances. Again I am not making excuses for as another poster said earlier "choose words carefully". Not at all, but you say you drop a grown a** man off at 22nd and Diamond that ain't from there? They knew this baby was gone.

Special prayers for the police officers and Detectives who had to handle this case as well as for their families. I know personally how that ripple effect goes.
