Just came here to talk about the video with King, I am so confused. It might be an innocent video but I still think it is a little inappropriate to have him involved. They are saying she murdered him so it must be pretty obvious, what happened?

This fully explains the situation, and I am prepared to not blame the parents, and sympathize with them.

Autism is, give or take, genetic, and here is like the family situation looks now, to me.

Overwhelmed is the word. Add lack of finances and organization to it.

Two separated parents, caring for the autistic daughter, I bet! - overwhelmed and tired and hence physically unable to dedicate enough time to the other child. Also, there are. likely, some genetic traits, so parents mean well but are unable to organize care of the boy. So the boy ends up with the babysitter for such a long time.

I can’t blame these parents. People from much higher socioeconomic circles end up totally burned out with the care of children on the spectrum. And here, probably, they had minimal economic support. I think both parents were totally, utterly, burned out.

I haven’t seen the father, but remember the mother, from the interview, her posture when she was sitting. Really, the situation looks very different to me now.

Very sorry that King ended up with TP, and for his tragedy. I can bet the parents tried, but it may be too hard.

Of course the mother will be haunted, but she is already beaten down by the situation. I feel mere compassion for her. People can spread only this thin. MOO.

Autism actually isn't genetic.

I don't mean to be rude, but as a Mother to a little boy with severe autism and a sensory processing disorder, I just wanted to speak up. My son is autistic due to oxygen starvation at birth. Children can also be autistic due to drug and alcohol abuse in utero, and a head injury prior to birth. The genetic cases are actually very rare. My daughter who is 2, has absolutely no autistic tendencies whatsoever.

I care for them both. My husband works full time, as do my extended family. I think it's important not to base assumptions on the family dynamic, purely on peoples views on what parenting an autistic child is like.

About this video of TP and King... I had actually been looking at her SM to see if I could find video or pics of King. After seeing that video, I'm left stunned. Something is not right there obviously. It made me so uncomfortable that I stopped watching it. Poor King. He was failed. He deserved better than this. That is not a normal display to put on with a child in the room. Ugh. IMO

I’m happy to have King, the baby join me the youth are the best at matching my energy, or going beyond I surrounded myself with their joy and give me such optimism to keep going, so yes it’s tru children our are

If I would see it without knowing what happened to baby boy I would think of it as just a bit inappropriate but not alarming but now it makes me sick my mind just keeps wandering to thoughts I don't want to have....Im sure LE is aware because the investigation seemed to be very thorough and if anything was going on I m sure there would be added charges I very much hope we're overreacting

Well, that was disturbing. What kind of caretaker dances like a stripper in front of a child? I wonder what happened right after it was cut off and he walked over to her while she was in the middle of a move. I noticed in another video of her dancing that her eyes look very strange as if she is high. I wonder if that's why she puts hearts over her eyes in her videos. LE must have a ton of video evidence.

Well, frankly, I think it’s weird and inappropriate around a child. That’s more stripper moves than artistic dancing IMO, YMMV.

In a possibly unrelated question, who’s paying for that private counsel? It doesn’t seem that TP had traditional employment.

I haven’t been able to bring myself to watch it. And probably won’t. But appreciate everyone’s descriptions and comments.

Honestly, the whole story was sad ,but seeing the video makes it sadder for me especially knowing she killed him. He is so cute and sweet. She is not even being charged with manslaughter or some lower degree. She intentionally murdered him,why? What is the video evidence exactly, surely she did not record killing him, because they would have had a better idea of how and the time of death.

That video is March 2019 so she knew King for at least a year ,parading him on facebook and the mom did not know her at all?

Interesting point. I don’t know LE practices on handling SM accounts. But fwiw I had found the account as well independently. So my assumption is that LE found it too. JMO

Yeah, if I found out a caretaker was alone in a room with my child making moves like that I would be very concerned.

In a quality daycare it's not permitted that any staff member be alone with a child. The bathroom door has to be open whenever a child is using it with a staff member and another caretaker must be in the room. Same for changing tables.

TP was probably running an illegal daycare without a license and without registering with DHS. There are many of these types of family or home daycares everywhere and nothing ever gets reported until there is an accident or someone dies. Some parents are willing to take the risk because it's so much cheaper than regular daycare.

I will admit I am heavily judging the parents and I know they are considered victims.
ALL MOO just thinking out loud.
I think the biggest issue with the mom is not that she did not have her child but she did not know where he was and it is assumed she never checked in. I believe she stated that she did not know the babysitter yet she has been watching him since at least March 2019 according to that video. Then there is the stepdad, did he have the mom convinced that he was watching him? Did he tell the mom he had a babysitter watching him even if he did not provide who it was? Why wouldn't he mentioned it to her?

I do know that even licensed daycare can harm kids so maybe even if she did know who was watching her child the outcome would still be the same. Ultimately TP is responsible for Sweet king's death and had no right to take his life.

Little King had been at TP’s place for two weeks? Why was he there that long? Was his stepfather working double shifts and his mom not available? Why pay for a babysitter for two weeks - just call mom and tell her to pick him up? And mom didn’t know the babysitter? What the heck did the stepfather tell her during those two weeks? He’s fine, he’s right here with me?
TP has kept King before yet the mom doesn’t know who she is? What the heck happened to little King?

I believe she was a member of the website TAP or something like that - hookups for money. The red haired lady in the previous video said AH was also a member, but no idea if that's true. Who cares anyway except for the baby.
