No, I don't think so. LE said it was surveillance footage and cellphone video evidence which led them to believe King was deceased. I don't think they meant they had direct evidence of his death.
The abuse of a corpse charge probably pertains to the fact that she hid the body, or disposed of it it an inappropriate way. Imo
Agree. As we discussed at the time, in the press conference Police said "We don't right now have the mechanism of King Hill's death, we don't know the date of his death, and we don't know the location of his death, nor do we know where Ms Parks disposed of his body, but we know based on the evidence that we have that he was in fact killed by Ms Parks,"
Footage could include any number of things - such as:
- surveillance video of king going into Parks apartment and never coming out (maybe Parks toting out a suitcase though)
- Cell video of King last seen alive with Parks in crucial time period
- Footage proving Parks was not where she said she was with regard to her different false claims about handing off King to his mom/uncle.
- Cell video of Parks confession or talking about King being gone
- Cell video of an injured, ill or deceased King (but not the actual murder because they said they didn’t know mechanism, date or place of death)
- Cell video of Parks engaged in felony/ reckless behavior in King’s presence
- Etc.
