EDIT: I decided to bite the bullet and just email the site. Here is what I said,

To whom it may concern, I am helping to investigate a missing persons case. I am not from law enforcement, but just a volunteer organization who tries to help resolve cold cases. We have some questions for the woman on your site, Melinda.

Can you please put me into contact with her? You can pass her my information to have her reach out to me, or if she allows, have us reach out to her.

I know it sounds completely bizarre, but it is extremely important that we could be able to ask her a few questions. We dont need her physical location or anything like that, just an email would suffice, any way to reach out to her.

No not yet... maybe because of everything going on people are out of work and they didn't see it? Or maybe it wasn't a request they would fulfill...

Michael emailed me. I have responded back. This makes me feel a LOT better. I scanned all the newspaper articles, posts and other stuff I have, now I need to get cracking and print out the data for CatsNTats and Michael. Hopefully they can use it to apply some pressure.

I don't know really.. I might be reading into it too much..This is the link to the Hydrocephalus survivor website.. I know this is a super long shot but a few things strike me. 1. She looks SO similar to the young picture of Lauren. 2. They would be similar ages, Lauren would be about 35 now, this was posted several years ago. 3. And this one is big to me: this woman states that she was only 18 when she discovered that she had congenitalhydrocephalus/ tracker I am talking about this girl.. she look a lot like the age progression of lauren

Am I correct that mom waited a few hours before reporting Lauren missing?
Would be interesting to know why the dad has stayed adamant that the mom was involved all of these years. Seems he never wavered. Very odd that the parents never talked over time to discuss their missing child. Times like these normally bring people together even in the worst relationships.
Were the employees at the hotel interviewed? No eyewitnesses from that day? MOO

The mother is deceased. There were a number of tips over the years to include Lauren being put into a car (two different witnesses having her put in a car at two different locations). Other tips include a pedophile operating in the area at the time and a former Pennhurst inmate that is now deceased. There was a period of time between Lauren going missing and the mother reporting it to LE. Lauren also went missing just days before her father was going to file for custody. He most likely would have gotten custody. A Grand Jury was empanelled to investigate both the mother and older daughter, however no charges were filed. There is no shortage of possible scenarios.
