that's a little strange imo
I was wondering how did LE discover the buried clothing on the day the reward was offered. Did someone else besides JS know it was buried there ? Also, when the property owner called police after taking pictures of JS vehicle but it was gone when police got there; Why didn't the police go to JS and say " We had a report you were trespassing at 3104 Harvest Dr. just to see what his response was. You know he would have denied it. Then they could have said "We know you were there, what were you doing there ?'

Something is confusing me, the witnesses that waved to the young lady in the car in the Gap area, stated that she was wearing a black cap, is that correct? I thought LS was wearing a white cap? If this was LS in the car, and she was indeed wearing a black cap - where did she get it from?

This confuses me also. The same witnesses indicated the Amish churches in that area do not wear black head coverings to church but offered an observation that it was strange to see this non-waving Amish woman in a car in her church clothing. So if she had a black head covering, she was not in her church clothing. Right?

By the way, the non-waving bit being strange is absolutely true!!! I live in this area and have ridden my motorcycle all over the back roads for many years. If you wave at them they ALWAYS wave back!!!

Tricia will be on WS youtube tonight briefly at 10:00 pm but then at midnight Mountain time, she plans to do a 24 hour marathon "end of the world" youtube in (dis)honour of Lori Vallow and Chad Daybell. There will also be discussion of many missing people cases that perhaps don't get as much coverage as others ... whatever she and you folks can fit into those 24 hours.

You must be okay with Tricia perhaps nodding off, her couch at times empty with Scrappy Joe, Boo and Babe holding down the show between interludes, but all in all, Tricia will be there or thereabouts, listening to you folks and swapping tales with you ... for a whole 24 hours !! How exciting is that?

She possibly was indicating that she was in trouble and needed help by not waving, bechod, the whole thing just sucks ( I actually really want to use much more profanity but I don't think I can:rolleyes:;))

My interpretation was that Linda's group/area wears black headcoverings to church, but where she was seen in the car was in a different area, where black headcoverings are not worn to church (or perhaps at all) which is why it caught the attention of the observers.

IMOO

Do you think perhaps it was a coincidence that they offered the reward on the same day the clothing was found?

The women in Linda Stoltzfoos church dress as she did including black cap. The women she did not wave to were from a different area (Gap) and they dress differently.

Yes, it was reported by those witnesses in the Gap area that she was wearing a black cap. She wore it to church, it was hers. The picture in the link above shows her with a different outfit and a white cap. That is not how she was dressed the day she was abducted.

Are you sure about the black cap being hers? Everything I have read says they don't wear black head covering to church.

Oh no I don't. I think the reward was the incentive at least that's MOO.

Maybe JS panicked and told someone what had happened, that person made an anonymous call?

Was it definitely JS driving the vehicle that day? I am only asking as some articles state 'that a person in what appears to be white clothing' approached LS - have CCTV images actually corroborated that he was using the vehicle?

He (JS) panicked and told someone what happened ? The camera showed Linda Stoltzfoos walked out of the cameras view, crossing the road and his vehicle was seen driving away.

The first part - about him panicking, if he has done something awful to this young woman, and this is his first offence at a crime of this nature - previous ones were bank robberies iirc - he could have panicked and told someone what had happened, maybe the person he told made an anonymous call to FBI as to who he was (arrested at workplace) and where to find evidence (buried clothing) on the same day.

the 2nd part - I just wanted some clarity, yes it was his vehicle, and clearly there is evidence of something to do with him otherwise he wouldn't be arrested and no bail etc. but just wanted to see if there was cctv footage/stills confirming it was definitely him, just because its his vehicle doesn't mean he was the driver - most likely is, but there is a chance it wasn't, and without images to prove it was him, it could be an argument in his favour . Don't misunderstand me, imo he is guilty, but all other possibilities should be considered also.
