I drove down Beechdale in my invisible Google car ha ha. Just past the silo on the left at 570 Beechdale Rd. there is a white fence. If you zoom in on that driveway there is a red car with spoiler on back but no sticker. Is that a Kia Rio does anyone know ? Could JS have a friend or relative there ? Could he have stayed there ?

The background looks the same. It looks like the red car was in front of these silos and I assumed that the picture was a frame taken from the surveillance camera. I don't see the driver.

Rosiebones, could the driver have been on the other side of the road talking to Linda Stoltzfoos ? Duh, why didn't I think of it sooner ?

Does that look like the silo behind the car? There was a silo where he picked her up. I guess I assumed this was a picture of his car from the camera the man had installed there.

Police released 2 pictures of Smoker's car immediately following the abduction at 12:42pm. The pictures came from the video obtained from Scott Bocain's cameras @ 557 Beechdale. In both pictures the silos can be seen in the background. The picture of the front of the car would be from the camera mounted on the south corner of his garage. The picture of the back of the car would be from the camera mounted on the little windmill on the north side of the house.

I just found out that JS was living in Gap when he was arrested for robberies at age 21.

You mean to tell me he could have and should have been pulled over while Linda Stoltzfoos was still alive in the car with him!!! Why didn't they interrogate him after he was reported to be trespassing at Harvest Structures ? Or did they interrogate him ? We just don't know. Somethings wrong here, terribly wrong. At least that's MHO.

I read that to say that the pictures that were released were from immediately after the abduction not that they were released immediately after the abduction. Actually they were released several days later I believe.

Thank you Rosiebones, my blood pressure must have been through the roof when I first read it. Released a few days later, that makes sense.

The photos were released after JS was arrested. They were from the footage obtained from the security cameras of Scott the neighbor, after it was restored and enhanced by the FBI.

My question is, how soon after they were taken did the police know who he was ? Were they ever tailing him and when did that begin ? Why didn't they interrogate him about trespassing at Harvard Structures ? By not interrogating him, they might have missed an opportunity.

Perhaps they didn't want to tip him off which may have made him run. They interrogated him when they found the buried clothing and had something to hold him on and the judge denied bail. Then they knew they couldn't lose him.

That was July 10, 2020 when they found the clothing and also arrested him. I understand what your saying Rosiebones about having evidence to hold him. They had a chance to possibly rattle him about trespassing at Harvard Structures on June 23rd, it just seems like a missed opportunity to me but that's hindsight and MOO.
