It seems awfully unfair that the defendants got only $75k bond that they are expected to be able to post! These teens weighed less than 60 lbs! I’d make the case that this was attempted murder! Who are these people to this community?

The biological sister of the boys told police she hadn't lived at home since April 2023 but that she was also subjected to similar punishment, including being placed out in the cold undressed.

While the older sister may not have lived in the home anymore, there were apparently other children besides the twins in the home. The twins and those other children in the home are now in the care of other family members.

I am very interested in knowing if those other family members had seen any of the children lately or had any inkling these kids were suffering this abuse? Apparently this king of "punishment" in the home isn't new since the sister has been out of the household since early 2023 and she says she suffered the same sort of treatment when she did live there. So where were all the extended family members in all this? Out of state? Blissfully unaware?

I can find no updates for the preliminary hearing the Dechants were to have had on February 3rd. I still can't believe they got out on bond. Praying for the twins and the other children removed from the care of these unusual parents.

TD isn't the first mother who permitted and/or engaged in the abuse of her biological children with a current husband or boyfriend.

A bond of $500,000 for starters.

The boys look like Holocaust survivors.

Not that Judge McCants would have needed a law degree to be thoroughly disgusted and enraged at the Dechants sadistic abuse of the twin boys to have set a high bond or no bond.

Instead the recently elected ex-football player
to judgeship made a move that is way beyond offensive not only to the teen boys but all children who have been abused.
$7,500 got walking papers to both Dechants.

'In PA, it’s easier to become a judge than a cosmetologist."

It’s $75,000—still obscenely low for this typeof crime, but more than $7500.
