A little bump for Little Collom Street Girl, a.k.a. Wister Woods Girl, since the day of her discovery 41 years ago is fast approaching.

Is there an estimation about how old these bones are?
Little Adele Marie Wells went missing in 1958, she was a black 7 year old little girl. There has been no evidence found since her disappearance.

I believe the Wister Woods Jane Doe was estimated to have a 1-year PMI. Additionally, they found braided hair with her remains. In all reconstructions, she is depicted wearing the braids with elastic bands that have big plastic beads on them. These particular hair bands were created in the 1970s, which would make this an unlikely match for Adele.

We need the bones, especially the teeth. Someday in the future, these "potters fields" will be completely exhumed and DNA will be systematically cataloged.

Even if you can find one specific needle in a haystack, you jostle all the other needles in the process.
