I did look up schools in Darby School District. if he was 4-6 there would be a chance he was in school. they have yearbooks with names. I wonder if the LE talked too these children and teachers to see if there was a child that was in school and then gone? May be I could do it one school at a time. I can find them and send emails and ask. if no in Darby I will move to another school district. Some family is still missing this boy!
May I please ask you to see if there is in any years books a Thomas,James or Robert Hagan from any area's.

I have also cross searched these boys with nothing there are some about the age but, they are from another country or not in the age range but will look in the yearbooks for them.My grandfather would tell me about when he worked for pa railroad they gave workers passes to travel on the train for free. He would go from upstate Pa to Philly. So I am wondering if they travel by train because his father was an employee.I was thinking maybe they did not give him his vaccines due to the fact he had maybe a condition. I do think the other poster was correct when he said possible elfin syndrome.I am not sure. So the Hagan boys are around the same age. Also looking for the autopsy report on boy in the box to see if the ME found any irregularities beside the eye and scars.

Thank You.Their names may have been changed through adoption if they were ever adopted from the orphanage.I'm not sure how you would find out out their adopted names.I do know that if they were adopted out their names would have changed and that is sealed by the court.

there is a Robert Hagan that is from Australia. So I searched the years books from 1968 until 1970 there were 2 years missing. I made a list of all the Thomas and Robert first names and noted the last names. And searched for possible matches if they were adopted into the same family whether both went to one home or one to one home in the family and the other to another home in the same family, I also factored age, location to philly so far I am halfway through the list and last name matches are Leicht,McCauley,Poppert.I do have an appoint today but, will try to finish the list today sometime.

Thank You so much. There is also a James Hagan.I had the impression they all went into the Lutheran Orphanage together. At the later years of 1950's.But did not come out together.

so sad! my grandfather was also in an orphanage as his mother was labeled feeble minded. his father could not handle the children there are 12 of them my grandfather was the oldest so as he could support them he took them one by one out of the orphanage. Many of his sisters were mentally ill so he was also given guardianship of their children. so these cases are very unsettling for me. I also found James Hagan but could not find dob. I am also checking on cardiologists, trauma md's, eye md's in this time in or around philly. I am also thinking the round scar on the left side of the chest was maybe a chest tube scar? maybe a complication of the possible disease?

Yes,I also have always thought possibly he had polio.

Or use to have polio.I feel he couldn't walk for some reason.

Is there a photo of the round scar available from autopsy? My son has a drainage tube scar on the left side of his chest from open heart surgery when he was an infant- I could compare them?

When I first seen the bruises on his legs I was thinking leg braces? My brother had them for awhile. The ones on his head are so symmetrical. I also checked medical equip.from this time for those bruises but, no match. That would also be similar the bruises on the upper arms? thinking maybe those canes with the arm braces? if there was some kind of disability?

I could be.I think the marks on his head were finger marks trying to give him a hair cut.He died in the middle of a hair cut.It wasn't finished yet.I think the marks on his legs were from being hit with possibly a stick like object in the bath tub or during the hair cut to keep him still.all the bruises were inflicted at the same. There were no bruises in different stages of healing.I feel he changed care takers possibly a few days before he was found or someone new came to him.

I was just wondering if you had looked at the March Of Dimes poster Children for polio? He does look similar to a child in one of those photo's. I was also searching for people that would be employed in this area as at that time is was quiet desolate. The person just did not happen onto this site. they had to know it exsisted.

My grandson is 3 we tried to give him a hair cut and he was not having it. We all ended up on the floor. So I could see this as a possibility. He did end up with a semi bald spot where my husband had the clippers too short.

Have you heard of the Medical Mission Sisters in the Ury House at Fox Chase? Anyone? Is this a possibility?
