Right, that makes sense. Maybe they are waiting on possible DNA or toxicology to come back. I still think it's strange that there has been nothing posted. I looked back in the news and whenever there was a body found in that river, the police have asked for help in identifying, and/or there are updates here and there. You could certainly be right, they may just be waiting for the tests to come back. I wonder if they have an idea who it is but aren't saying anything until it can be confirmed through DNA. At that point, if there is suspected foul play they might ask for the publics help in piecing together her movements before her death.

Maybe they have a good idea about who she is but are waiting for DNA from her family. Not all families who come forward want to go public over potential matches.

Hello all, I have just seen this missing lady, Right height, weight, colouring. Date missing is out by about 8 days, but she wasn't reported missing until 29th January, so maybe the Date missing from is wrong. Plus shes a bit away from the area, (But I don't really go by that) I can't find any info at all on her or pictures apart from a teenager from the same place keeps popping up which isn't her, maybe someone can see if they can find her? I found two pics of her. If you search “Courtney Smith Oklahoma City missing” on Facebook you will find a post by Sarah Rachel Smith from 12/11/19. In the post she says Courtney has been missing since August. Courtney has mental health issues.

Now that you see a pic of Courtney, what do you think? I don’t see a resemblance to the UID. I guess maybe the short length of the eyebrows and the hairline are similar. Do you have any reason to believe Courtney could be this UID?

I'm unsure. In some ways yes in others no. I wish the picture of Courtney was clearer so I observe moles/freckles.
Why i'm not 100% ruling it out is the photo is older , in the new one she has more grey like our doe. Alas, it's side ways so you can't see so much. I ran the pics through a professional-looking beta api program (one that also measures pinpoint distances on faces) and they matched at 76% . All other things dates, weight, height match. She says she may have been heading to Wisconsin and was in a shelter. I'm not sure what type of shelter but Where doe was found is a huge amount of Shelters of various types, maybe she moved from one to the other?
Your right thought first look I think no, but second look more seems to connect. Or maybe I just want it to?

Rose Timperley may have run away or been taken from a group home by someone named "Uncle Charles" who isn't known by anyone who was close to Rose. Is it possible she ended up in PA if she left with this man? Height and weight are off a bit and she disappeared 2016. It's a long shot, imo, based on circumstances. However, visually there are some similarities, especially the eyebrows and lips.

My apologies as I realzied I didn't give accuarte info above. I read her case story and comments on her thread. I inadvertently combined the info and speculation when I was typing the post above. It was early and I'm old.


Shortly before she went missing Rose received a phone call from a person she named as "Uncle Charles". She said he was taking her to a funeral. Speculation is that he may have played a role in her disappearance.

@gcsunny Here you go! Courtney's sister has been posting about her on Facebook (I'm not going to link it now, but will if the mods require it)

Courtney's sister mentioned she has been going through a mental illness for the past few years. She is under the delusion her "biological parents live in Michigan" but (according to sis) they share the same bio parents who live nearby. She is not adopted.

While I'm not convinced she is our Philly UID, I'm scared for her safety

I just saw that NAMUS posted a "rule-out". It's not Jill Paula Primavera Link below). I was a little surprised they ran her through as she has a huge tattoo on her arm and our JD does not have any tattoos. I suppose they can be removed. But at least there is some movement- I check regularly still.

Oh shoot thank you I couldn't find UID's eye color the first time I looked through this thread but looking at her profile it does have brown as listed, though theres always the brown vs hazel debate.
