Whaaaa?! Shep Smith is saying there could be 1-3 suspects in custody? Anybody else here that?

I'm sticking with my favorite local station, WPVI (ABC) Philly and they are not reporting ANY suspects in custody. Still unfolding, police officers trying to get suspect(s) in custody. Situation fluid and still dangerous. 6:45pm

Serving narcotics warrant. Not sure if all 6 officers were involved in that, but they were ambushed.

A lot. My guess is that he’s armed with a semi-automatic rifle, probably with 30 round magazines.

If those bullet counts (100 plus) are from him alone and not factoring in law enforcement, it would have to be a weapon like that.

He may have hundreds of rounds.

Mickey, I will just say Philly is a very dangerous place in the summer time. Krasner, the District Attorney, is lenient on crime, and there are a lot of dangerous people on the streets. I think they had 11 shooting last weekend in the city.

In relation to various reports of suspects, I think it’s been chaotic and most networks have had to rely on “sources”. Taking everything with a grain of salt in regards to those details, ppd is rightfully too busy to make sure we have accurate info, as much as I would love that. Things also seem to still be fluid, they actually just noted conflicting reports on NBC. A lot of the video feeds r generic bc they did ask media to not go in to close in case suspect was watching it live.

Narcotics investigation was the first call. So, if it is a drug dealers den then he probably has stolen guns and stolen ammo and lots of friends to help him build a cache.

Law enforcement owns the night, as they have the benefit of night vision equipment.

He’d be at a disadvantage if this doesn’t wind down before that.
